This receiver replaced my Onkyo receiver that just stop working after a year. Yamaha has always been a better product

Yamaha makes all sorts of products and this av receiver is awesome. I am not a tech buff or anything but this av receiver gives you more bang for your buck. An older model but great.

I purchased this item mostly for the 4K / HDR pass-through capability. Pleasantly surprised with added features - Musicast, AM/FM, Surround Sound Options and connectivity options- Bluetooth, WiFi, etc..

Purchased this for a small theater. Easy set up, WiFi feature. Mobile app allows control without direct line of site... and can control music over wifi... Crisp audio

Upgraded my previous Yamaha which was 5 years old. Wanted 4k 7.2 and 2 zone to with my LG OLED55CP7 great results

It would be 5 stars if you did not have to be almost directly in front of the receiver for the remote signal to be picked up. It is not the remotes fault, rather the receiver, as all my other remotes also will not work in a diagonal location to the receiver. Other than that, great sound, great features, and full 4k HDR capabilities.

Purchased receiver after having my 7.2 channel Onkyo for 12 years. The Yamaha is a great upgrade, I have been holding out for a 7.2 channel for 4 years at a great price and the Yamaha does not disappoint! I had no problem hooking it up to my surround system and I love that it is wifi enabled. Extremely Happy!!!

I bought this to replace and existing Sony amplifier. The ease in set up and the ability to connect speakers wireless is amazing. Dolby Atmos is a nice touch in the price range.

I have been a lifelong fan and customer of Yamaha audio products. This is my third Yamaha reciever (last one was handed down to my oldest son). The difference in the newer tech is easily heard! It sounds fantastic, easy setup, and I can even control some features with my Echo. I once again remember why Yamaha has always been my brand. The only negative is the remote. Frankly it feels cheap and your aim had better be on when you use it...

Like every Yamaha AV receiver, this won't disappoint. I have it in my family room where Atmos isn't needed, so I didn't want to spend the extra money on unnecessary features (I own the RX-A2070 for my basement). As expected, this one has great sound and it's easy to set up. What more can you ask for?

Bought a 4k tv so I had to upgrade receiver too. Works great with Dolby Atmos too!

Great 7.2 AV Receiver. Available now at a great price since 2018 model just arrived. Has everything you want....80 watts per channel, 7.2, 4K UHD, HDR10 and Dolby Vision HDR. Sounds great for music and movies. Highly recommend....especially at current prices.

We loved our last Yamaha receiver that we purchased about 16 years ago. Replacing it with this model has improved our surround sound quality and we are amazed at how the bluetooth works with the other components of our system.

Upgraded from an RX-V2500, which was a splendid receiver. Very happy I took the leap. This receiver runs circles around the 2500. Blutooth in/out; wifi, sound processing, and more.

After getting it set up. There is this little mic you set in the middle of your seating area, all speakers balance out fast and easy. The sound is deep and sharp with klipsh speakers

I am no audiofile and this is my first big receiver purchase in years so I am only giving it 4 stars because I not a stereo freak and may not see the faults. However, I paired this unit up with 7 speakers and 2 woofers (which do require either a seperate sub amp to power the woofers, or your woofers need to be self-powered) but so far this baby seems to rock hard and rock long. It doesn't get hot, it has good am/fm reception. It switches over to bluetooth music (from my iphone) smoothly and the remote control is well laid out and intuitive to use I think. That is all.
