I was hesitant to purchase an open box item, but it came with original box, packing, no scratches or wear. Very pleased to have looked for open box item, as I saved about $100!!

This receiver works as advertised, if you're new to setting up a AV receiver and surround sound it can be somewhat confusing. I wish it had come with a manual, however, after finding it online I realize why they don't....it's a good a couple hundred pages. Works great and I have no major complaints.

Definite upgrade to my previous Yamaha receiver Better picture and much better sound. Front flash drive capability very nice. Wi-Fi connectivity also.

Was looking for a great receiver and I found it. I bought some Yamaha Speakers someone on Facebook and paired it with this receiver and I could not be happier with the purchase.

Had a pioneer receiver that didn't work well at all.over heated & quit working after a few months , this unit runs cool & does not shut off! I would recommend this to anyone

Works great and I believe the color on our TV is brighter and the colors are more vivid.. The salesman was very helpful with our questions!!

This replaced my Sony 4k that went out after 2 years. I like this one better but miss the sync i got from the sony. This syncs but only seems to work half the time.

This unit is fantastic. Bluetooth has great range and clarity. Intuitive HDMI inputs makes this very simple to use.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is a great receiver and the fact that it has Bluetooth capabilities is just awesome for music!

Replaced an older Sony for this because I needed HDMI connections for components. The set-up through the YPAO was SWEET!

Works for everything I need. Tivo, PS4, Shield all connected (there are 4 total HDMI connections). Sound quality is fine for me, but I must admit that I am not a sound quality buff. Bluetooth works well. I don't have anything 4K, so can't comment on that.

Sometimes passthrough video would require to leave the unit on the input you want to see before turning off, but other than that I like it a lot.

My very first stereo in 1974 was Yamaha, and ever since I have always been impressed with Yamaha sound! I have a paid of vintage MS-5 speakers, used with this receiver all sound like new again!

picked it up as "open box - acceptable" for 120 bucks. Included all accessories and was in tip-top shape. Does everything I ask of it but could have more HDMI inputs. It has the standard 4 HDMI ins, but you can't have to few of them. Works great and even plays net-radio. Haven't managed to pair it with Amazon Echo, which supposedly works.

I was a Denon fan for years and I am so glad we made the switch to Yamaha. Easy setup and great customer service support.

Works we’ll with my system. Needed 4K pass through. No issues so far. Did work with my bose system that all the speakers hook to the sub. Sounds good

Perfect system for second home theatre set up in house. Price and power were attractive. The A/B allows for sound on outdoor patio or another room. Easy to sync with Spotify and Pandora.

Pros: Sound quality, functionality, controlling through Yamaha app, streaming cons: no instructions for how to use apps. Can't find a way to delete bookmarked internet radio station.
