I have had this receiver for a few weeks and it has worked great so far. It was easy to install, easy to pair with music cast to my android phone and stream music. The 4k quality isn't diminished from the video source all the way thru the receiver and onto my 4k tv. I would recommend it, if you want a entry level 4k receiver with a few bonus options such as being network ready.

This thing does everything. I've had it for a couple of months now and I'm still finding new features and settings. Bluetooth, Spotify, Pandora, you name it. Sound quality is excellent and works perfect for my 5.1 setup

This receiver does it all. I can even listen to music from my phone using Bluetooth. It is great. I have my surround sound and many options for other connections and it connected with ease. It is a great receiver.

I like the sound quality very much. I replaced a similar Yamaha receiver that did not port through 4K, and so far I have not had any issues. I like the old remote control better...but all-in-all, I am happy with my purchase.

This is my third Yamaha receiver and it is the best one so far and it is price just right. I love that it has built in Bluetooth and Pandora. It drives my Polk Audio speakers very well. Money well spent.....

I am very impressed with this Yamaha Stereo receiver. The sound quality is powerful and clear. The 5.1 Channel audio is very good and works great. I also love the HDMI connectors. Give a lot of flexibility.

Great price for what you are getting and it’s a quality product

This receiver did everything I wanted and more. I love the connectivity to wifi and Bluetooth. It was a good price and I got more features than I expected. All of my video and audio components go through this receiver.

Like the WiFi and Bluetooth. Great sound quality. Only issue is when on satellite tv the screen display is only viewed when format is set on 1080 p.

This receiver has amazing sound output and great features. I really like the apps for it. It makes it so easy to control the sound volume, inputs, and quality. A very good receiver. I only wish I could hook up my blue tooth headphones for private listening.

This unit does everything I need. Can run Spotify directly on it, and I can also push music to it straight from my home server. Plenty of hdmi ports and sound great.

My technical abilities are modest, but managed to set this up and get it running. It has a lot of bells and whistles. I'm not using all of them, but they are available if I want them.

The receiver has great sound and it is very compatible with our Samsung TV. Set up was easy. I have it paired with a Polk surround sound system, and the sound fills the room perfectly.

Purchased for use in the garage for streaming music and watching music videos on YouTube. Driving two Polk Audio TSX 330 speakers. I have them Bi-wired and also 2 Polk Audio 10" subwoofers. The sound is very nice with good high frequency (tweeters) and no noticeable distortion. There is an app to download that can do all sorts of adjustments via Bluetooth from your phone or tablet. I have not tried this feature yet nor connected it to Wi-Fi but will soon. Only one complaint: The unit seems to get hot and auto-shutdown easily - however, being in the garage, I tend to use it at very high volume and probably overdrive the amp as it wasn't designed for this type of use. Overall a very nice unit for the price.

First I must say I only got the receiver about 14 days ago.But that said wow! This receiver sound is fantastic. There are so many features, but the main thing it's the sound. My last Onkyo receiver was good before it died. But this more than replaced it, it's an upgrade. Using the same speakers there a big improvement in the surround sound. I would recommend if you have your receiver in a enclosurer, you look into Aircom Series component cooling system. It might add years to the life of your receiver by keeping it cool.

Easy to setup, easy to pair Bluetooth, sounds great, and has all the features I was looking for. HDMI switching works better than my prior Onkyo receiver. Yamaha makes great stuff

Receiver has a lot of bells & whistles for the price and I haven't even used them all yet. Sound is very good for average user and was well worth the cost to replace my 30 yr old amp. Very happy with my purchase.

Fantastic receiver. I had a Yamaha more expensive receiver that lasted about 3 years, so still wanted a Yamaha but at a lower price. This one fit the bill. It was actually an upgrade with the Bluetooth and wireless capabilities, as well as the Yamaha App. My only complaint is that this receiver states it is 5.1 channel and a zone 2 for a separate room. But you cannot use both... you can only choose zone two without the 5.1, only using 3.1, thus the reason for 4 star review. The Yamaha App and Bluetooth is easy to set up and works fine. Haven't tried the wireless yet. Sound and picture is very good and at the high end level. Since it was on sale with a newer model coming out, it was a great deal and great value.
