I put this in my office with a 53 inch TV. The set up is easy and operation very easy as well. It comes with an optical cable but you should use an HDMI cable on your HDMI (ARC) output if you have one. The sound is clear and bass surprising with no sub. Perfect for a small to medium room.

If you are looking for Compact sound bar with integrated sub-woofer, go for it. Sound is crisp and clear and bass is good for a small living room or living room. Don't expect vibrating bass, if you like minimum bass with other sound then you are looking at the right sound bar. Purchase it, you will not regret.

This is the perfect size to put behind the 43" tv on the bedroom dresser. The sound is very good, much better than I expected for the size. I'm very happy with the purchase, it connected easily and very much worth the cost.

Good sound. Built-in subwoofer is good enough. I use it for my PC to save space. Fits under a 27" monitor perfectly. Sound presets are lacking, but sufficient for the purpose of media consumption. Will get reasonably loud.

Good sound quality. Compact footprint fits in limited spaces. The second optical connection provides flexibility to add a device in addition to TV. Bluetooth provides more device support.

Perfect size and sound for a Bedroom filling but not overwhelming. Size and the passive subs do a good job on the low end as well. I play my music as well and once again it doesn’t disappoint.

Super easy to install and pair with my cable remote using HDMI ARC. Clear Voice setting does what it says, really helps me hear dialogue. Petite footprint, but puts out big sound. I like mine so much, I just bought a second one to give my in-laws for Christmas.

Great for a small room, does has a nice thump. But no depth. Sounds great at almost all the way loud, it does have an app that u can use to control l it. Its yamaha, so u know the sound quality is there. Iya just small but packs a decent punch. Simple set up. Does relly good with movies. Gaming is ok. It does have 4k pass through, which is nice , it does help picture . Overall im satisfied with it. I havent returned it and dont plan on it.

great sound improvement over internal TV speakers. packs quite a bit of punch for such a small package, works well in a smaller room and very simple install and setup and great price point.

Solid upgrade to the TV speakers. Provides some low-end with it's bass boost. Bluetooth allows for other device connection (IPhone-Pandora) Not a substitute for theatre surround sound. Plug and go at a reasonable cost.

The sub-woofer is meh, but the sound quality overall is good. I have a TV in my bedroom and the sound fills the room well without a weird reverb/hollow sound with some other speakers. If you want bass, get something with a separate sub. I also like the quick Bluetooth function for hooking up my phone for music.

It’s compact, but delivers audio choices & adequate volume range in terms of bass less treble options. My sound bar is connected to an old Audio Technica turntable fit inside a vintage stereo console. So, the remote is a must and the built-in subwoofer is a huge +++ plus!! Very satisfied Yamaha’s performance & superb value!! Thank you friends at Best Buy!!!

This Yamaha soundbar sounds great. It was easy to set up It is small but was exactly what I needed.

East set up, excellent sound, and love the Bluetooth feature. We purchased this for our NYE party and all our friends decided to get one after.

I chose this as a birthday present for my mom, along with a new TV. The TV's sound is acceptable on its own, but this sound bar definitely enhances the experience. My mom and I appreciate the different sound settings for different types of content. The sound is very lifelike, with full bass and clear treble, and the balance between bass and treble is good. My mom especially appreciates the ability to use the TV's remote to control the soundbar volume, and the soundbar turning off when she turns off the TV, both courtesy of HDMI-CEC technology. Overall, this is an impressive soundbar for a reasonable price.

Great little sound bar! The short length fits perfectly on my TV stand. Easy to hook up to my 65" tv and very good sound for a small bar!

Amazing sound, as I expected from Yamaha. This small soundbar has such rich and powerful sound. Also, very nice, powerful bass without having a standalone subwoofer. All the videos I have watched so far with this sound amazing. Very crisp and clear dialogue, powerful "booms and bangs" and so on during the action scenes, and the music sounds so full and rich. Great all-around sound, overall. Very happy with this purchase. I can always rely on Yamaha to deliver high quality products. Definitely would recommend this soundbar to anyone.

I purchased this Yamaha speaker for one of the rooms in our home. I also purchased the JBL model JBLBAR20AIOBLKAM for a different room of comperable size. Both sound nice and I am a big fan of both Yamaha and JBL brands however in this case I would have to choose the JBL for just a few dollars more. The Yamaha has a built in subwoofer while the JBL does not however the JBL produces significantly more base and has a smoother sound. I would recommend listening to both and form your own opinion,
