Sounds great! I use it for my ROKU TV via HDMI ARC connection, so tv remote on/off, mute, and volume controls sound bar. Clear, crisp sound with bass control. I don’t blast it because I’m in an apartment so cannot vouch for how it performs when set to very loud setting. I have a Bose sound bar for another ROKU and this one is of equal quality but costs less than bose

I purchased this sound bar to enhance the sound quality and experience with my brand new 32” Samsung Smart TV and I’m happy I did! The subwoofer is decent and makes me feel like I’m almost in a movie theater. It may not be the greatest but I’m working in small quarters so it’s good here. Unfortunately I couldn’t get my tv remote to pair with the sound bar so I have to use 2 remotes. One for the tv and the other for the sound bar

The Yamaha - SR-C20A Sound Bar with Built-in Subwoofer and Bluetooth Model:SR-C20ABL is a great product, it have a great sound and for the size is a great sound bar for small places, small TVs and build with a great quality. I connected to my Samsung TV with the optical cable supplied and work great, one of the nice features is that combine the sound of the the TV together with the sound bar so you get a nice powerful sound.

Excellent sound quality, easy on the wallet. Hookup and installation very easy.

Good sound and really does make voices easier to hear. Plug and play. Set up by plugging in one cable and one ac plug. The remote does not let you really know if voice clarity or bass boost is on. But you can get an app for free that will quickly display this info.

This product addressed my need to enhance the sound quality for watching movies and tv programs especially sports, it gives you the experience of being there. Yamaha is a very good name for producing sound quality products it’s price point was more than reasonable for what I was looking for. I recently watched the movie Dunkirk which has a lot of battle scenes I felt I was there

I didn't purchase this sound bar to get more volume or louder base. I bought it for one purpose and that was to be able to understand what people were saying and not have a separate subwoofer. Yamaha offers a Clear Voice setting and many people had mentioned this in there reviews. Plain and simple it makes understanding dialogue much better. Is it perfect,no. We have had it about a month now and haven't had to put up Sub Titles. We actually ended up ordering the larger Yamaha with Alexa for another TV. So now we have 2 Yamaha sound bars. On a side note I like the Yamaha App for the smaller one better. Especially for the volume settings as they are numbered in increments so it's easy to tell what volume setting you like the best.

The sound quality is great for such a small speaker and it even has a built in subwoofer for bass. The clear voice function is especially great for watching movies without subtitles. I like how it has two optical inputs. I hook one to a blu ray player and the other to my Tv.

First off, I give this a 5star rating based off it’s use for a smaller TV, in a smaller room. If you are looking for a sound bar on a bigger TV in a large room, this isn’t for you. With that said, this unit is easy to set up, but will sound best with HDMI arc (HDMI cord not included), but the optical cable (included) sound fine. I am still struggling to get my Apple TV remote to work as the master volume on this, but I have read that it’s possible. For the price, build quality, and sound for its size, I would recommend this over other similar compact sound bars. It’s definitely better than the Bose compact, and it’s cheaper. There is no sound stage or fully immersive experience with this, but if you are looking for an upgrade for small TV, this will do it with a warm sound. Pros: -Price -Size and build quality -Ease of setup -warm natural sound w/ adequate built-in sub -Easy to use remote Cons: -Not great for large TV’s in a large room -Not theater-like or immerse in a way most people are looking for -Cannot compete against sound bars such as Sonos or Definitive Audio

Love this purchase ! The quality fir the price is unmatched Love the remote control And the ease of the separate bass control so I can adjust depending on genre of music I use it with multiple Bluetooth items, turntable, phone, TV and it enhances standard listening immensely. Plus it’s small enough to pack up on road trips, Backyard patio. Love the versatility and output quality

I connected this to my TCL Roku TV via the HDMI input labeled "ARC" and it just worked. No problems at all. Sounds great in a medium sized bedroom. Really love the built in sub-woofer and separate sub-woofer control on the remote. I tried Samsung, LG and Vizio soundbars and none of them sounded as good as this Yamaha and they all had problems connecting or staying connected to my TV.

TV speakers today, not great. Ability to have the speaker closer to you and aimed at you, worth the money. Great for anyone hard of earing and their family members!

My second Yamaha sound bar. Has great sound. Was easy to set up. It synced with my cable remote so it is a big plus having to use only one remote. I will stick with Yamaha from now on. My only complaint is my first Yamaha sound bar after a few years of heavy use started to periodically shut off by itself. I still felt I got my money's worth out of it.

I bought this Yamaha sound bar to put with my 32-in TV in my bedroom. The sound is pretty clean and the base is punchy. I did however have to adjust the equalizer in my phone (Spotify EQ) to make it sound a little less muffled. The soundbar can also be decently loud. I am very happy with my purchase!
