Purchased this as a sound at for my kitchen. It hooked up easily and is mounted to a wall. Overall sound quality is pretty good. It works very well when paired to a phone for streaming audio but when watching with my tv, it does have a slightly muddy sound but is still good. Has plenty of volume for anything.

Bought this soundbar to go with a small TV. I had, and the volume was great. The sound is better than the t v by itself.

Great sound for what it cost. Easy to set up and get going. It’s definitely better for movies than music as it just seemed to get flustered easily with music. Only real complaint is lack of a readout to see exactly what modes you have selected.

It's a great system for if you are limited for space. This sits perfectly between the legs of my 50 in. samsung and delivers a great sound that I expected. it is not a home theater system so don't expect it to rattle the roof.

I picked this up on a Black Friday deal ($130) after seeing reviews here and on Reddit. I'm space constrained and wanted better sound than the TCL TV provided. I hooked it up over ARC-HDMI with little effort and was ready to go in 5 minutes. I can control the volume and on/off with the TCL/Roku remote. The sound quality meets my needs and then some. The sound synch is perfect. If anyone is looking for a decent sound bar for home office, this is a good deal.

Highly recommend for small spaces, either to improve weak TV speakers and/or for Bluetooth connectivity. The stereo, surround, and movie modes are the same as my larger Yamaha sound bar, but wish it also had the subwoofer output. The bass isn't going to thump like a larger soundbar or subwoofer, but the sound is full and much louder than my TV and the mobile devices I use to stream music. Only negative is that it has a higher profile/height than expected and doesn't fit directly under TV (but would fit width-wise). I bought on sale but would pass at full MSRP.

Great soundbar for my lower budget. It was used to replace the stock audio from my tcl tv that had an annoying speaker rattle. This fixed that issue and the sound is very good along with the bass.

I bought this for my 96 year-old mother to go with her 40 inch Samsung Series 5 HDTV. She has a pretty severe hearing deficit but the Yamaha is up to the task of delivering plenty of very clean and crisp audio so that she can hear her programs. I chose to connect it through the HDMI ARC port and her cable remote synched up with it perfectly so only one remote is needed for her cable box, TV, and the soundbar. This soundbar delivers plenty of clean and well balanced room-filling audio.

Excellent sound bar and very easy to setup. Bought this for my Mom who has some hearing loss. She struggled to hear other sound bars well, but this one has a clear option she can hear better. Both she and I are very happy with this sound bar.

Compared a bunch of sound bars and landed on this one. It's compact and has good sound. I enjoy the Bluetooth option for music as well from my phone. It works with My Xfinity remote so I still only need one remote to turn on my TV and sound bar.

Games and movies sound great. Built in subwoofer punches far above its weight. Good price too.

We are very satisfied with this soundbar. We use it in a small, open living room and find it is just right. My husband loves playing with the different settings. It was very easy to set up.

Great value using our Plus Membership, saving $40, plus another $9, when price dropped the following week. Present to my son for his home warming gift to match his new 65” Hissense, as TV did not have good sound. This soundbar is a Hugh upgrade for movies and gaming.

The compact size of this speaker is fantastic, with no compromise on sound.

I bought this sound bar for my garage TV. Price was reasonable and Yamaha makes great products. For the money the sound bar is excellent and sounds great. Love the built in subwoofer. I would recommend this to my friends.
