Again, the British tracks from the 2009 remasters were used to recreate the American album. So this set does not have the American stereo versions of "I'm Only Sleeping" and "Dr. Robert" included on the original LP. You can hear their distinct elements in the mono versions, though. It IS cool that the original "butcher" cover artwork was used and paste-over "trunk" cover included.

Perhaps the best of the U.S. albums

This may be the best of the U.S. Beatles albums. It contains songs from three British Beatles releases (Help, Rubber Soul, Revolver) including some of their best songs-"Yesterday." "Nowhere Man,' "Drive My Car" as well as the singles "Day Tripper" and "We Can Work it Out" which at the time had not been released on British LPs. I like having the Mono and Stereo versions of each song. By the time this album was released, the stereo versions sounded better then the mono mixes. However, the mono mixes are very impressive. I highly recommend this c.d. I'd also suggest buying some of the earlier U.S>.releases such as "Meet the Beatles." In my opinion the mono versions were superior to their stereo counterparts on those c.ds. The packaging on this c.d. alone is worth the price. You get the convtroversial "Butcher" cover as well as the replacement sticker that we were used to seeing on this album.
