I saw this game in a "you missed these games" article and it looked weird enough to make me want to give it a shot. It's a platformer where instead of jumping and blasting your way through to advance, there are integrated pinball segments that you must beat to continue. It shouldn't work but it does. Note: there are a few times where I was not sure where I was going but figured it out eventually. Both my daughters watched me play and are now going through it. It's fun. Hopefully they'll make a sequel.

Yoku's Island express is a 2D platformer title based around pinball physics. Yes, you read that correctly. Admittedly enough this concept works really well. That and the game has a great story and a fun soundtrack to boot. Give Yoku's Island a try, it's unexpectedly fun and enjoyable. (I bought this title on multiple platforms and am reusing the review that I wrote for the Nintendo Switch version.)

I've never played anything quite like this game. I am not a fan of pinball games, but somehow, I found this game very enjoyable! Think of it as an platformer, action pinball game with fun graphics, an easy story, and smooth responsive gameplay. It is definitely innovative and is well worth your time.

If you are you fan of platform games and pinball you should definitely pick this game up it was on sale for 12.99 when I bought it and you can't go to wrong with the price.I picked it up on the Xbox and the graphics are really good .

Holy cow. So i never really thought of myself as a gamer. But i bought this game (and several others) and it's great! You play the role of Yoku, a tiny dung beetle who comes to the island to become the new postmaster. But when he arrives, he finds the island is in trouble- but great news! Yoku can set things to rights! The challenges are all done with pinball mechanics, with each new area of the map opening up as you complete minute objectives. I'm about 45% done with the game and the has not been a single moment of play that i haven't loved. Great game!

So If anyone is interested I highly recommend picking It up for that cheap. Loads of fun.

I've not played the game yet, just observed. My son's birth love the games it's a gorgeous game to look at, and it's pretty straightforward but challenging for them *and 3 and 6* we need more games like this. The market is already saturated with FPS games.

This is an option concept it mixes pinball with a venture with RPG and it's very funny it is very good if it was put out by a lesser-known company it would be more popular if you'd like to come by if you like Adventure this is a must-have.

This is a charming and unique game that incorporates pinball mechanics with platforming and adventure gameplay. The graphics are very vibrant. Recommended if you are looking for something a little different.

If you like action arcade games and are a pinball fan as well, this hybrid mix of both will give you hours of family fun with the kids!!

This game is addictive...the "voice" / sound is NOT entertaining. It distracts from the phenomenal game play.
