This is exactly what you'd expect: a chance to enjoy your childhood time spent on Yoshi's island all over again. If you loved it the first time, you'll love it now. I never got a chance to play the full game the first go around, so a lot here was "new" to me. The gameplay, graphics, and sound are all classic. And that means your platforming and D-pad skills had better be up to snuff! Just as hard as all the old Mario games were, just as frustrating, and just as fun. If you can't get enough of your classic Nintendo platformers, this one is a solid choice, with decent longevity and a good amount of family friendly challenge.

This ia a geeat starter game from age 5 to 100! Its easy enuf and interesting enuf to keep a child or adult fascinated for hours! Its addictive! Overall a 10 out of 10!

It is an really great game to get. It has a different story line than the last Yoshi Island game.

At first my son didn't really like it. That changed the more he played.

This is more of the classic Yoshi's Island gameplay. I really like the art style they use in these games, and the fresh impression of creativity you get from the levels/gameplay. Must-have for Yoshi fans!

I thought this was going to be a port of the SNES version but I was wrong. What I got instead was a excellent game with some new faces of characters to play to boot!. Excellent game.

I used to love yoshis' island and this game is close to a good port. Fun game.
