I bought the Yubico Security Key NFC after hearing about all the recent data breaches, and I’m so glad I did. Setup was super simple—I was able to add it to my Google account in minutes. I love that I can just tap it on my phone using NFC or plug it into my laptop’s USB port. No batteries, no codes, no fuss.
It’s small enough to keep on my keychain, and it feels really sturdy—like it’ll last a long time. I also like that it works on both my Windows laptop and my iPhone.
If you’re serious about protecting your accounts, this is a no-brainer. Totally worth it.

I'm really happy with the Yubico Security Key NFC! I got two—one for daily use and one as a backup. Setting it up with Facebook and other accounts was super easy, and now I feel much safer knowing my logins are protected with strong two-factor authentication. It works great over USB-A and NFC, which is super convenient. Highly recommend for anyone serious about online security!

Loved how easy the NFC was to connect to all my devices and how easy it was to store all my information. Highly recommend especially because of all the hacks and breaches that take place nowadays

I much prefer the security of having to have a physical key, rather than authenticator apps or text codes, since you have to have this security key in your possession like a key to your car or house. It gives a different kind of protection than text codes, which go right to a hacker in sim-swap attacks (where a hacker transfers your phone number to their device), defeating the whole purpose of 2fa.
If you lose the key, some random person finding it isn't going to have your info and know what websites you have it registered with to be able to access your accounts.
The key is ready to go out of the package. You'll set it up in your security settings as your 2fa option on whatever site you're using it for. When you set it up, it'll prompt you to insert the key, and then prompt you to touch it, which is where the circle with the "y" lights up and flashes green. Then, in the future after you log in with username and password, you'll be prompted to insert the security key, and then prompted to touch it.
I'm not a "tech savvy" person, and this was fairly easy for me to figure out the set up and to use.
One other nice feature about these security keys is that no batteries are needed.
Just some tips...
1) Make sure to get a spare! You don't want to lose or break the only security key you have for a website. (Note- If your site gives recovery seed words or codes when setting up your 2fa security key method, keep them in a safe place. You may need them to recover your account if your security keys would become lost, broken, or stolen.)
2) Mark them somehow to tell them apart, as you'll be naming them when you set them up on a website. Yubico website sells stick-on skins, or you can color-code them with different colored protective cases or key lanyards.
3) Get protective cases for them. They come in different colors and can be purchased on Amazon and Etsy.
Unfortunately, not all websites support security keys, but a lot of popular ones do.

The Yubico Security Key NFC it’s been a game-changer for my online security. As someone who was looking for affordable yet reliable two-factor authentication, this device hits the sweet spot perfectly.
I had it working with my Google and Microsoft accounts within minutes.
It does exactly what I need it to do - secure FIDO2 and U2F authentication. For basic security needs, this is more than sufficient.
This Security Key NFC is perfect for anyone wanting to add strong two-factor authentication without breaking the bank.

Ok, my google account was compromised, they got my passwords to a lot of my gaming sites, my websites i run, and other ones, amazon, etc. Looked into securing my computer and accounts beter and these right here are a great investment. Make sure to get 2 at least this one and the yubikey5 thats around 50 also. it supports 2fa with it. it will give you some peace of mind. (2fa, passwordless, and security key) look into it, you will be happy you did

This is great because my computer and sometimes my phone get passed around in the house, but I want to keep some of my accounts private. Before anyone using my phone could see a text message with a code and log into my stuff, but now they can't because the Yubi Key needs to be tapped. Highly recommend.

Setting it up with Facebook and other accounts was easy, protected with strong two-factor authentication. It works with USB-A and NFC, which is super convenient. This is a great product but has one problem - It is breakable. A duplicate key is an absolute must but that creates another key which has access to every nit of information you want kept personal
