Security Key Series vs. YubiKey 5 Series
The Security Key series supports only FIDO protocols (FIDO2, U2F) and is not compatible with the Yubico Authenticator app. Some services require a YubiKey 5 Series for full compatibility. For broader protocol support, including OATH, PIV credentials, and computer logins, consider upgrading to the YubiKey 5 Series.
