The Yuneek Q500 is easy to use, it would be nice if it had the Intel sense technology to avoid obstacles, but all in all great drone.

This is the most amazing piece of technology I own. Super easy to control and the 4K camera is AWESOME.

I've had my Typhoon for about a month now, and can honestly say it was money well spent. My first flight was about 10 minutes after the battery charged. I have RC experience, but this is my first aerial RC product. Control was smooth, especially in rabbit mode as I got used to the controls. Having the ability to slow down the response on the controls kept me from making drastic flight changes while learning. It was so good, I let my seven year old daughter fly it, and now she wants one for Christmas. The 4k camera quality is great, and looks fantastic on my Samsung 4k television. Have shot countless videos already on a 128GB card. Love that the video comes out in .mp4 and can be played pretty much on any device. Battery life is as advertised. 20-25 min per battery depending on how much video I shoot. The controller having a built in display makes for a very manageable, self contained system. All in all, value for the money is incredible. Happy I decided to try this unit as my first unit.

Bought this for my husband for his Christmas gift. HE LOVES IT!! It is easy to operate, has great video and comes with replacement blades. Adapter (inexpensive) is needed to read the memory card if you have a MAC which we do. Plenty of online help from the Yuneec site including videos. Multiple flying modes for the novice.

I love this drone. it is very easy to fly takes amazing pictures and is overall stunning. If I could change one thing about it I would not. I would recommend this to anyone who want to start flying drones siriosly for pictures not for stunts if that is what you are looking for I would look into a Parrot AR 2.0.

I have been looking at drones for awhile now. I have even bought a few of the cheaper models. They are really hard to fly compared to the yuneec. With the on board GPS it makes flying the drone really easy. The picture quality of the CGO3 4k camera is awesome. The built in FPV on the controller makes this a complete out of the box package ready to fly.

I've not had the time to fly the drone, so will give review on the quality of components and packaging. This to me is what every manufacturer, dealer, etc. should strive to provide to the end consumer. The quality of the product is excellent, the carrying/storage case appears to be made of carbon fiber, even the shipping box was of high quality material. Very impressed so far

I read a lot of reviews on several machines. I chose the Yuneec 4K. Right out of the box, it was so much fun. Even wrecked it couple times, very durable but the blades...but to be expected. Very easy to use, even for first timer. Only complaint is that best buy doesn't carry accessories or spare parts. That would just make it that much more perfect.

This is a great drone for the money. The set up of the drone is very easy. The remote control and camera are great. I watched quite a few YouTube videos and did a lot of research about this Quadcopter before I decided to buy it to make sure it wasn't going to be too complex. I love it.

This drone is AMAZING... on paper. Coming from a phantom 3 pro I had high hopes for this drone due to everything that came in the package for just a few dollars extra. Unfortunately, after using it I can see why. The drone: I had 2 flights with the drone, neither of which went well. The first flight ended with the drone loosing its connection to the controller and almost crashing. The second ended with a propeller detaching during landing, I will mention it was a soft landing. It was also hard to get a connection to the camera during both flights. I had to restart the drone and controller multiple times. The Steadygrip: While the idea is amazing, it is flawed by a camera that will not connect to either iPhone or android. The wifi would connect and disconnect shortly after on both devices. I had none of these issues with Phantom 3. If you have to choose 1 of the 2 go, DJI.

Like I said, best quadcopter in the market today. The yuneec q500 4k can be used for all your video need. it is a great flyer and very safe and easy for a first time flyer or a novice.I love the fact that it comes in a nice solid case and the hand held gimble is a nice added bonus. Great range and the follow me mode I like a lot. can't wait to get the wizard which will be a nice to add to my flight abilities.

We purchased this to help us in producing training videos and stills from a different advantage. We have only had it a short time to use it and have not had it in the air much. we are very excited based on the short time we have had it.

Before getting the Typhoon Q500 4K, my only drone experience was with some of the cheaper toy models available. I was super nervous to fly a $1000+ model. I was completely relieved on my maiden voyage w/ the Typhoon, though. After everything was charged up, it only took me about 10 minutes to get the drone up in the air. I started off in 'Smart Mode' to get used to the controls, but it wasn't until long that I switched it over to 'Angle Mode' and saw what the thing could do. As a first timer with something so robust, I loved the 'home' feature to help me land the Typhoon automatically. The remote itself is as impressive as the drone. The touchscreen is a nice add, so you don't have to worry about connecting your phone. I also liked how the remote buzzed when I was getting low on battery so I knew it was time to land it. I've only used the Steady Grip twice, but haven't had any connectivity issues that I've seen others mention. Looking forward to seeing what this can do. The Typhoon has multiple stickers on it instructing the user to read the owner's manual before they fly. Might seem overboard w/ the safety, but I appreciated it. It also comes with a microSD card, but I would recommend purchasing a SanDisk Pixtor Class 10 or something similar to really take advantage of the 4K images/video. Highly recommended!

After a lot of research I chose the Typhoon 4K and am quite pleased with my decision. Everything you need to fly with is included. There are several modes for the beginner or experienced pilot and after your first flight you'll be able to capture outstanding photos/videos. I'd suggest getting the optional carrying case which will hold all of the various parts needed to get you in the air. Two thumbs up for the Yuneec Typhoon 4K.

I have had my Q500 4K for about a month and love it! It is my first drone, so I cannot really compare it to others like the DJI product line. I did a lot of research before making my decision. The biggest selling point for me after reading reviews was how easy it is to fly it. As I said, this was my first drone. I was very nervous for my first flight, but the control of the drone is so easy and smooth! I also love that you do not have to use a separate device from the ST10+ controller for your flights and camera management. You can control settings, see what the camera sees, and control the camera for both photo and video all from the controller. The camera control is so nice...especially with pro mode where you can adjust more camera settings and really get the photos and videos you want. From videos I have seen online, the Q500 is also much more quiet than the DJI Phantom product line. I did go with the kit that includes the two batteries, case, and SteadyGrip as it is great bang for the buck! The only reason that I am not giving this a 5 star rating is because of the mixed results I have been experiencing with the SteadyGrip. I love the idea with this and it really makes the kit an awesome deal, but the connectivity of the camera to my phone is hit an miss. I have not had issues with controlling the camera from the ST10+ controller, so it certainly appears to be the connection to the phone. I have tried two different phone models (both Android) and had issues with both. I have done some research online and found that others have had the same battles. I am hoping that there may be some improvement with updates to the app or the camera firmware. These issues are not enough for me to be disappointed with my purchase.

This is an awesome drone for beginners or pros. It is ready to fly right out of the box. Amazing picture quality from the 4K camera, great pics too!!

Relatively easy to fly, takes nice smooth stable video. Still frames aren't superb but can't expect too much form 12megapixels. Some units have been found to have problems keeping the camera level during flight. It seems the only sure way to fix the problem is trading it in. Overal decent unit, but can probably find better for the price.
