My son and I have had this on our to buy list for some time. When we saw it on sale I knew we might not get another chance at that price. They even price matched for an extra $200 savings! After watching hours of videos, registering our drone, updating firmware, and setup, it was finally time to fly! And fly we did! It performed amazingly right out of the box/backpack. For a beginner, it couldn't have gone any better. There's still so much to learn and try, but so far it has exceedingly surpassed our expectations. I'm greatly pleased. The reason I'm giving this 4 and not 5 stars are two main reasons. The video has been a little choppy, but may be due to my end and not having everything setup yet. However, i'd expect the range and video to perform better. Second, the gimbal is made to break away. I don't like the idea of it braking the wires and/or falling hundreds of feet. There's definitely room for accessories and customizations. I'm very happy with my purchase so far and look forward to more flight time. Especially after I take the 107 test and remove the height restrictions. Buy this drone! You won't be disappointed.

It is a great drone . I took it to red river gorge and took lots of picks it has great resolution and love how the landing gear actually works

Being experienced with traditional RC aircraft, the transition to a drone has some rather unexpected results. The Typhoon H Pro is a rock-solid aerial video platform that frankly requires very little skill to fly and takes high quality aerial video and/or pictures. Other than some practice with hand-eye coordination relative to the position of the drone, about 20 minutes, the drone will pretty much fly itself while you focus on using the camera (which has independent pan and tilt). The 4k resolution video is excellent with smooth recording. Any good video editing//conversion software works well with the video. This hex drone even flies smoothly in windy//gusty conditions that would upset most quad drone platforms; making them unflyable. Still pictures are excellent. However, pictures can be somewhat grainy in low light conditions. Battery life is usually around 15-20 minutes depending on features active on the drone. Additional batteries and accessories are readily available from a number of vendors. The drone backpack makes transporting everything you need easy. I am very happy with my decision to go with this hex-copter platform over the quad-copter platform.

Well I got my drone, came with everything you need to fly. Important, READ the instructions before flying. I have flown my drone several times now and I love the pictures it takes. I wish the batteries would last longer, but so far no crashes. Worth the money, IF you are going to use it.

I thought it was a pretty good product I don't like the fact that the battery is such a short life for how expensive that you have to purchase this but overall flu great took great pictures and can't wait till they upgrade and improve the overall quality of the product

The Typhoon H is an extremely well built drone. I am amazed at its ease of use and how quickly a completely new drone pilot can learn how to fly. Plus with the “H” having 6 rotors it is a not only great looking and aggressive looking drone, but its very steady to fly and a ton of fun!

This done is amazing, it is tricky to figure out at the beginning but the camera quality is amazing

I was between the DJI Pantom 4 and the Typhoon with Real Sense, and I opted for the Typhoon. After a few initial flights, I am happy with the results. The follow me works well, the flight time is just about what the company claims it to be (after a couple of full chargings, the batteries have lasted longer), and the controls are smooth and easy to control. The transmission range is about a half mile, but I am flying over trees and hills, which negatively affects the transmission. I am looking forward to working with the curve cable function soon. So far so good.

Its a great drone an great pictures an videos its jus a pain to update it cause its hard if your not computer smart but flys an handles great an fast it jus needs to be water proof thats all so you can get great storm footage

I'm new at drone piloting. The typhoon H is was ready to fly out of the box. Flying the H is easy and is very steady in moderate winds. The camera is good...not great...but good. I love it...it's a lot of fun.

Concept sound great, one of the few that comes with a screen instead of forcing you to use a phone. The obstacle avoidance sounds great and the larger number of rotors shoyld provide greater stabilization.

This drone is really cool with so many features. Is really awesome... BUT... it's almost scary to fly it because of the fear that it may run into something or that it may drop because if it breaks, it's an expensive fix. This is our second purchase of this same make and model. There is now more advanced object avoidance software which is awesome but if you've already got it on the ground, sometimes it sees the ground as something to avoid. The controller is something to get used to, for sure. All in all, just be ready for accidents to happen with this one.

The Typhoon H is without question an incredibly stable and capable drone. Excellent 4K video and picture quality, easy to learn to fly and a great value!

It was very easy to learn how to fly this drone and the on-board camera is great. As you fly this model, it follows you if you want it to. A great buy!

This beats dji hands down, just the fact that you don't have to connect to an app to fly it makes it easier to use, add retractable landing gear,and that it can still fly if you loose a motor, makes it the best photo platform in this price range. Have taken several photos and videos, all excellent. Everything you need is in the package,no need to connect a phone or tablet,it's all right there on the controller, including a seven inch Touch-Screen, and Since its illegal to fly beyond line of site the control distance of just over a mile is more than adequate.

This drone is easy to fly for beginners yet it has the options to grow as your skill level advances. The camera is stable and really clear.

I purchased this drone transitioning from an inspire 1 and I am quite impressed at the stability and quality of the videos it can take.
