Positives: The keyboard is robust, all the keys function as advertised, battery life is phenominal, my iPad retains it's slim profile, and I can attach my smart stylus to the back. Cons: The keys require a good amount of pressure to register and the case has already chipped around the lightning port. Conclusion: I would still recommend this case as I found it to be the better of the keyboard/case combos for the iPad Air 2 in terms of both reliability and asthetics.

When I first bought this item it was really thin, which was great. But something had to be sacrificed in order for it to be that thin. In this case it was the case/shell for the iPad. It's a plastic shell which doesn't hold up. I'm not talking about accidentally dropping it or anything like that, I'm just talking about everyday normal use. The plastic at the bottom of the shell where you plug in the cord to charge your iPad began to crack, not even a week of normal use (Picture included). This is mainly due to a design flaw I believe. If you look carefully, there is a small indent of plastic that doesn't allow the iPad to be fully seated, thus causing the pressure of the iPad to force it to crack. Hopefully Zagg fixes this problem. Other than that, the keyboard is aesthetically pleasing to the eye and is amazing to use. It feels great and the keys are distributed evenly. It just feels natural to type, like an ordinary keyboard would feel like. There is no lag time from the time of typing till you see it on the screen. Battery life on it is also outstanding. It's also quite versatile as well. You can detach the iPad and place it in backwards and fold the keyboard in which is great because you'll have your keyboard handy when you do need it and won't misplace it. All in all, I do like this keyboard, just wish the shell was made more sturdy and the design flaw taken care of.

Works great and easy to manage my iPad. Battery life awesome, didn't need to charge the case much.

I have had this product 1 month. It has already cracked at both openings on the plastic cover where it fits into the magnets on the keyboard. Best Buy does not take returns after 15 days so now I have to contact Zagg directly to get a replacement if they will do it. I really like the keyborad but the cover does not easily move back and forth to open and close and that is why it broke at the weak areas where the magnets fit into the case. It was not made sturdy enough as the plastic is flimsy and weak at the openings.

First replacement due to sticky keys. Second and third replacements due to the magnetic catch/hinge not working. However, I do use it all the time!

This keyboard-case has excellent design proving three modes, as detachable keyboard and case, attached together in to a laptop like configuration and as a stand. With easy detachability and snug fit when placed together, it has a really funtional design. The keyboard has an excellent quality, connectivity and battery life. Heavier weight is the only relative downside. The case I would rate only as okay as it is plasticky with rough but slippery texture. The only reason, I would bear with this case is that it provides functional and snug fit through magnetic slots with the keyboard. Overall all, I consider it a good buy.

Love the design flexibility and protection from my iPad. The first one I get the battery lasted a week, then after a full charge it lasted only a couple days (not the two years they published), I returned it, and got a new one, the hing is cracking after only 2 months and the battery has died again, better, but not two years. Truly this is the best design idea I have found, love the flexibility. I'm hoping the Warrentee will cover it and I can try again, truly the design I want.

Light, easy to use, keyboard is a normal keyboard, very slim, Backlit keys are EXCELLENT to use in no light/low light places, AWESOME product!

This bluetooth keyboard case is definitely the best case you can get for the iPad Air 2. The price of it perfect for what it offers. Now I have only to problems with it. 1. The keys seem to be a little close for me. I wish they could have been a little bit more spread out. But I know the keyboard can be has big as the tablet. So I'm not so mad bout it, just saying thats the issues I have it. 2. Is the case it's in. Its kinda made cheap. It beens very easily and doesn't really hold the iPad in in my personaly opinion. The one issues people may have said about it is that once you open the case the ipad starts to pop out. It only happen to me once and it was because I opened it very quick and a lot of pressure. It hasn't happen to me again. So dollar for dollar this is the best Keyboard Bluetooth case you can get for the iPad Air 2.

I've tried just about every iPad Air keyboard case and this is certainly the best one. Yes, it's pricey but in line with the other premium backlit keyboard cases. Pros- Super long battery life. Good key spacing and size. Solid weight that allows for true on lap use. Easy to use your iPad AS AN IPAD and then use as a laptop when needed. Cons- a little bit of play when you attach, almost as if they didn't make any change to the hinge for the slightly thinner iPad Air 2. For $129.99 I might like a full metal body on the keyboard portion.

I really like the product and works well with my iPad. Great protection and the keyboard is easy to use. I wish the hinge would snap in the iPad a little tighter and swivel better.

I have been using this for a few weeks - best battery life, realistic key touch and super easy to use. The magnet that holds the iPad in place on the hinge is also a great feature. The hinge is tight and I hope it remains that way. I bought the extended 2 years since it was very cheap and I use it daily. So a worthwhile investment. Great product from Zagg.

This is a great keyboard, easy to use and pair up, excellent battery life I have been using it for over a month and still on the first charge. The ipad with cover pulls off and can be easliy used with out the keyboard. It is very light and compact when closed and very secure. I would highly recomend this to anyone.

Nice Keyboard with large easy to use keys. Excellent tactile feel - like a real keyboard. Lighted background a nice feature; thought I'd be able to change light color but not so on this model. Love having the ability to easily remove iPad from keyboard for Kindle reading. Great battery life - so far have not had to use charger.

My husband bought this keyboard for me last month. Yes the keyboard works great, yes it stays charged forever. However the magnets in the cover that connects to the keyboard are not strong enough, when trying to open and close the case. The hinge is too tight and there is resistance in it making the cover slip out of the hinge and has caused the casing part of the keyboard to crack. I gave it a two stars because I like the keyboard the ease of typing but its quality for its price is awful.

I am happy with my purchase. I am able to do my work in the iPad wherever I want to thanks to this keyboard!!! IT does turn off by itself sometimes but easy to turn it back on. I have seen some reviews about great customer service. The IT people t work recommended it.

The keyboard works as expected, always connects through Bluetooth like it should. I like the various positions you can place your iPad with the keyboard, which was one of the key reasons I purchased this product. I am not a fan of the plastic holder the iPad sits in as it does flex and the small part of plastic by the Lightning connector has cracked (second one, BestBuy exchanged the first one I had bought for free). Seems to be the weakest part of the product, but not a critical component so I can overlook this for how the keyboard works (I had a different keyboard for another iPad and it had a hard time connecting all the time). Battery life is good. Overall I like this product, other than the plastic part.

A very progressive design, easy to configure and really expands my use of this iPad tablet. I do have to say the tabs for the cover did break on the original unit. However, ZAGG was very proactive in replacing it at no charge under their warranty.

I had been looking for a keyboard case for my iPad for some time but they were all too cheap feeling or too expensive. I found this on sale and couldn't pass it up. The keyboard is very nice. Good key response. The brushed aluminum look is very nice as well. The iPad is kept in a protective case and detaches from the keyboard to carry around by itself. This is fantastic. Bluetooth is great. Pairs easily and you can turn the keyboard power off/on as needed. Great purchase.
