I had this same type of Zagg shield for my Galaxy S7 and loved it, so I was sorely disappointed when I applied this shield to my new S8. The application process itself was straightforward and easy to follow, I even watched the YouTube video to be sure I didn't miss anything, yet no matter how hard I tried and which instructions I followed, I could not get the shield to seat on the phone in such a way that a horrendous air bubble was not created between the phone and shield. This air bubble expanded from about thumb print size to three quarters of the length of the phone, when it got hot from being outside. The expansion of the shield is normal, but the air bubble was ugly. The shield also inhibited the responsiveness of the touch screen...pulling the settings tray down became an art form of holding my thumb just right and for the appropriate amount of time, until the settings tray became active and I could pull it down. The sidetray was not much easier and even though I have an Otterbox commuter phone case, the shield did not wrap far enough around the phone to create a seamless transition from case to screen, quite the opposite; there was what felt like a massive lip created by the shield, a lip that loves to catch dirt and dust, making your phone look constantly dirty. After doing some research, I found that the Gorilla glass 5 that Samsung equipped the S8 with, is virtually indestructible, unless you constantly drop your phone onto the pavement from 3 ft, or higher, but that's something a case could help with too. If you are only worried about scratches from putting your phone in your pocket with keys, or a purse, don't be! The screen is impervious to that! I would recommend to spend your money on a good case instead, preferably one that has edges that are slightly raised above the screen so that if you lay your phone down, screenside down, the screen won't be touching the surface and it will also help protect the screen better from falls. Just don't buy this shield, I could think of a thousand better ways to spend $40! I ditched my shield and couldn't be happier!

It works for protection but drastically takes Way from touch sensitivity. And ultimately will just fall off. * mine within a week. Possibly a result of gorrila glass on S8

Horrible screen protector. Had BB install it with its centering tool and I was excited. Till I tried to use my phone. Screen has lost do much sensitivity. Almost impossible to push letters near the rounded edge. Swipe is the only way I can type anything. It takes about 10 tries to open the top down menu to get into notifications and settings. Might be tough but makes me want to throw my brand new phone at the wall. I've purchased about 5 ZAGG screen protectors and this one is a huge let down. Would love to exchange it for a thinner one. This review took about 15 minutes to type because my keyboard doesn't recognize anything. :-(

I purchased this glass the same day as I purchased my Galaxy S8 and the sales rep applied the glass to the phone for me. I like the fact of the warranty for the glass, but I am not so fond of the reduced sensitivity on the phone. I find along the curved edges, the glass must either have air pockets or just doesn't set well on the phone, as it sometimes takes several pushes with some force to press the letters on the keyboard when typing. It's taking some getting used to and I must also add that this is the first time I've had a glass protector on a phone, so it could just be a different feeling for me.

Because it only adheres to the edges of the screen sometimes you cannot drag from the top to pull down notifications. It also effects touch sensitivity on the entire screen. The sapphire protector is much better.

Cracked after two weeks. I usually just keep phone in purse. It is glass so it made using touch screen harder to use. I did get it replaced through Zagg warranty but i do not think i will have it reinstalled.

Screen protector was easy to install. However, that is about the only plus for this product. Screen sensitivity was lacking. Hopefully they redesign this product as we love our zagg screen protectors.

It doesn't fit the phone very well. I hate how you can see the adhesive on the sides, it looks like a plastic film didnt get peeled off. The only good thing is that its goes good with most cases

Easy to install on my Samsung Galaxy S8. Looks good on the phone. Tested basic scratching out and was not able to scratch the surface. I would buy this again without a second thought.

Cracked after a couple of days. For something that cost $45, it should have lasted longer. I didn't even drop it. It cracked while in my purse.

On our 2nd one in a week. First one interfered with sensitive touchscreen. Second one popped off when dropped and won't reattach to our S8. Not much else to choose from ... wish there was.

The curved protector was a nice added piece of protection to our new phone and has saved the screen from being cracked once already. However, it makes using the touchscreen on the phone very difficult. You almost have to hit the screen for the phone to recognize you are selecting something. The pull down alerts bar at the top is nearly impossible to get to on the first, second or even third attempt. While we like the added protection, the added difficulty of using the phone while it is on makes this almost not worth having.

The last 3 phones I've had have been covered perfectly by the Zagg covered and I've never had a problem. In fact, after I took the Glass Curve back, I bought the flexible shield and it's great on my s8. However, like I said in my title, the one I got could have been defective, but it would not stick to my phone. One corner would not line up, but it also only had a thin strip of adhesive along the edge of it. The sensitivity was terrible, and no matter what I tried, it wouldn't work. Oh well, I'm happy with the flexible Zagg shield.

1st thing right off the bat, this item did indeed protect my screen from getting any cracks or scratches. However, it came at the cost of losing almost ALL functionality of the screen. The way the protector attaches to the screen is atrocious, there are many, MANY dead spots all over the place that just made me regret buying it. Thankfully, I dropped my phone and the fall shattered the screen protector. I claimed the warranty on it and requested the alternative sapphire screen protector, which worked far better.

Invisashild by Zagg is not a very good product. It is hard to press the buttons with this protection and very hard by the corners of the screen. It doesn't stick very well to the phone screen either. I will say though that I spoke to Zagg and they said they would no have a problem replacing my protector with there best protector for the S8. Frankly, after reading the reviews of the upgraded protector there were as much problems with the upgraded protector as the one I have now only different problems

I bought this for my Galaxy S8 on the day of it's release thinking I was going to go all out to protect my new phone. First I went to the website to watch the video on how to install it, like instructed, but there weren't any videos that even came close to resembling the kit I had. No big deal, it's too new. After I installed it, my phone was basically useless. I had to swipe down 10-15 times to get the menu to drag down from the top, and I had to press the screen pretty hard (when answering or making calls, browsing the web, etc.)to get my phone to know that I was using it. I took it off a threw it in the garbage after 3 days.

I just bought 2 new Galaxy S8's today for my wife and I and got this screen protectors. I paid the $7 to have someone at the store install them and glad I did. They went through 2 screens and told me there were a lot of defective ones out there in the store that don't have much/any adhesive in the middle of the screen. So there were no bubbles, but there is a distorted streaking when you touch the screen. They didn't have anymore in stock and said I could come back to get a new (non-defective) one installed.

I have always used glass screen protectors on prior phones, and I like Zagg for their warranty and good products. I purchased this protector for my new s8 and installed it and now I have to practically hammer my finger everytime I use the phone. It only sticks around the edges, so there is a pocket over the screen and it doesn't work! You can't get the top to drag down, and have to press very hard on the home button to get it to activate. Typing is hard as is most of the touch screen because of this.
