ZAGG - InvisibleShield Glass Curve Screen Protector for Samsung Galaxy S8 - Transparent The curved edges have a line about 1 cm in and the curved edge falls about 1 cm short of the edge of the screen that kind of limits the screen to the flat portion and can interfere with selecting something on the edge or swiping. The guy at the store went through 3 screen protectors before he got one on cleanly. Don't know if it was product or operator but I was glad I paid for the install after watching that fiasco. Now that it's on (aside from the minor thing with the edges) it seems fine and no scratches even though I'm not a gentle type.

I am confident in this screen protector, i know nothing will happen to my screen with this on. the only thing i dont like is that when i try to swipe down to turn on the flashlight or my data/settings I have to swipe down a couple of times until the phone detects my finger, i think this is because of the shield. Oh well! Also after having the shield on my phone for a week there is dust collecting on the sides of like little particles. So I hope it doesn't get more. But overall, I would not do without! I need protection for my phone especially since i have a 2 year old who is always using it to go on youtube and throwing it!

The screen protector, although pricey, came with all the things needed so you can install it yourself very quickly. My phone is now protected and pretty.

My son dropped his phone 2 days after getting it. The screen cover splintered and the phone cracked. The phone still works so the cover probably helped. I just never had a cover splinter.

I hadn't replaced my phone for years, Note 3, and I learned that the phones are glass and the cases made now don't have the screen protector. I went to Best Buy to figure out how to protect not just the back of my phone but the screen as well. This is what I got and it works great and feels as if nothing is there except the screen. The only downfall is that I had to spend $50 on the case and then another $50 for the screen protector and then insult to injury, another $8 for installation

This is the only glass screen protector I've found that will stay on S8 curved glass screen. That said this is my 4th protector for this same phone. Bought the first one..lifetime replacement through their website for the next two ..and bought this one at BestBuy after numerous tries at cheaper ones on Amazon which wouldn't stick or made the touchscreen unusable. So basically this a bit "spendy" but pretty much even with all the cheap ones I've thrown away.

I’ve used Zagg Invisable Shield on several phones with good results. The Glass Curve for the Galaxy S8 fits nicely and was easy to install. The touch sensitivity is very good from edge to edge. Now for the but...it pops off very easily. Within a few weeks of installation the product popped off the phone after a short drop. The phone and screen were fine, the screen protector was not. Will be trying the Saphire version, which is supposed to stay on better.

I have always used the Zagg glass protectors for my mobile phones. They do an excellent job at protecting my screen from getting scratched or cracked. The only thing I've noticed the last two times is that the glass isn't covering all the way to the edge of the phones, therefore causing a little lifting of the edges.

I was sold into this shield on Black Friday when I bought the Samsung 8 so did not read reviews first. I paid $20 and another $8 for installation by the Geek Squad. My first issue was poor adhesion and not being able to swipe down with ease. I was having to run my finger across the screen several times before getting a response. I think there was an air pocket too. I brought it back to the Geek squad and was told it was installed improperly so they replaced it for free. I followed their instructions to not place my case for 3 days to give the shield ample time to adhere before disturbing it (which I had also done the first time) and the swipe feature was much better. I dropped my phone after about a week and the shield popped off and was cracked in 2 places. I checked the lifetime guarantee that came with the purchase, but shipping costs $10. I don't feel like paying for shipping every week when I need a replaced shield, so I will just eat the $28 and look for an alternative shield. I would not recommend this product to friends, family, or strangers.

The lifetime warranty helped sell the product, since it has already cracked and needs to be replaced. Please note that in order to "request" a replacement the product must first be registered on the Zagg site. Also, it costs $10 for shipping and the damaged item must be sent back to Zagg to avoid a charge for a "new" product. I guess my rating could change based on the number of times I have to request a replacement since that charge can really add up over time.

ZAGG shields have protected my phones for years. I didn't hesitate when I bought one for my new phone. I did knock one star off due to the curved part of the protector. It did not take long for one part to snag loose & make a small chip on my protector shield. But, my phone screen was in great shape & their replacement warranty held true.

I read several reviews where people said the screen protector started coming off soon after it was installed. So far I have not had that problem. Seems to be okay. Have a case on and it does not make contact with the screen protector - wanted to make sure of that. So at this point product is doing what the company says it is supposed to.

Works great to protect screen and prevent scratches. Just have to make sure to clean the screen thoroughly before attaching, to ensure it is securely attached. My last one came loose and broke all in pieces, as to why I had to get a new one. A little pricey but cheaper than replacing the screen on the phone.

Seems to protect the screen fine and seems more durable than the old school plastic sheets we all remember using back in the day. Some things that might be cons for some... 1. Vertical lines are present when viewing the screen on both edges where the glass curves. It's not huge deal unless you are such a clear screen purist it bothers you. It also tends to effect touch responsiveness a bit at first, but not much. It does not distort onscreen images from what I can tell. I think the increased thickness on the edge is a design feature, but some might consider it a flaw. 2. Pocket lint dust tends to get trapped under the edge of the screen protector. You can easily lift it up a bit to clean under it, just don't throw it into the sand on a beach, you will be better off just buying a new one if you get sand in it. 3. Changes in the appearance of the screen is sligh in that the original Samsung screen is more mat, this screen protector has more sheen but does not effect the viewing angle in regards to light reflections while the screen is lit.

FITS WELL- BUT JUST A BIT DIFFICULT TO SEE SCREEN EDGES - AND SEEMS TO BE VERY GOOD PROTECTION.. REFLECTS QUITE A BIT OF LIGHT, HOWEVER, IN BRIGHT SUNLIGHT. BIG BONUS: THE EXCELLENT BEST BUY AGENT INSTALLED BOTH THE SHIELD AND THE CASE FOR US ON EACH OF OUR NEW SAMSUNG S8 PHONES - WONDERFUL BUT PRICY.

Two things with this protector: 1.> It's thick and can seem to block responsiveness on the top and left edges, 2.> with reasonable force it slides off the screen. I got this instead of a flexible cover because I wanted to make sure I was protected from falls and impact cracks, so I expected some tradeoffs. We'll see if it continues to hold up, but next time I might jump to the Sapphire.

    NEW model works!!!(2nd gen)

This screen protector is the 2nd gen version of this tempered glass by invisibleshield for the S8. The 1st gen was discontinued due to the issues it caused with the S8 and plus models with the screen not working or having to press really hard. This 2nd gen is cut and shaped better and has not resulted in a single negative effect on the phones touch response. All parts of the screen respond as if there is nothing there. This comes with a install frame to mount it correctly. It's near impossible to mess up the install process as long as you follow the guidelines and use the install frame correctly, READ THE GUIDE. Take your time and you'll be fine. It is case friendly so no worries there (using a tech21 tactical). Covers all the screen except the top part where the sensors are so they don't interfere with the retina scanner and the other sensors on the phone. I've used this brand on my S5 and it's saved my phone every time. As a bonus this company gives you a lifetime warranty on the glass as long as you register your purchase on the website. Again the 1st gen (google it, such bad press) version of this was a failure, 2nd gen works like a charm...make sure it's this EXACT MODEL!!. Would recommend 100%. No doubt. It's expensive but not as expensive as a new screen, or cut fingers. Protect your investment. (The film's are not worth it, this is).

    First one didn't stick

ZAGG... they are the best , right? The first application didn't stick. And yes, I cleaned and de-linted the screen according to the directions (this isn't my first rodeo). Two weeks after applying the screen protector, it popped off. ALL of the "sticky" was stuck to the screen and still even a bit tacky. The protector itself was not adhering to the glue. ZAGG honored the warranty, I have replaced the screen protector and the new one is "sticking" fine... but it is another $9.99 for shipping and handling to get the new protector and then you have to mail the old one back... (postage paid). Thankfully, I got the first one 50% off, so I am still below the normal price for a ZAGG screen protector, but really... it was defective. AS I said the replacement one is fine and doing what I expected from the first one. so... not perfect but still one of the best out there and the only one I was willing to risk for a curved glass screen.
