It protects my screen from damage and provides a modicum of security from nearby oglers. Anything outside of (approximately) 20° looks completely black. Where I struggle is complete coverage. There is a thin area of the screen to each vertical edge which is not covered, allowing a sliver of light to escape to the sides. This isn't a deal breaker, not by any means. But it is distracting, and makes this product (for me) just one step shy of perfect.
