    This case is not sturdy. The hinges are susceptible to snapping which renders the whole product useless. I liked it until it broke. I’ve only had it about 18 months and it was not used hard. I found other reviews citing the same issue. This isn’t a new issue and Zagg has not corrected the design flaw. Don’t waste your money.

    This device is amazing! It makes the IPad a lot heavier. I don’t like the support for the the case. I fear that rope that supports the case and the IPad will be the first to go.

    This is a fairly rugged case that offers the added benefit of a full-sized keyboard. Zagg has, at times, set the standard for customer service and product quality for device accessories. I have gone through three or four of these cases over the years while commuting between NJ and NY by train (um, pre-COVID), and making intense use of my iPad in court, in the field, and in a really varied range of circumstances. The keyboard is dependable, the protection afforded my iPads has generally managed to robustly prevent expensive damage despite drops. Will the hinges last forever? No
