Yes the price is high on this item but it is the best on the market. Keyboard is great and I love that it detaches from the ipad.

I bought this to protect my Ipad air 2 out in the oil fields and hasn't missed al "lick" tough and easy to use. I would recommend it !

This was a good choice for my iPad Air. It protects my ipad and gives me a nice keybaord. It adds some weight overal, but that's OK.

I use my iPad a lot for work and this keyboard makes it very easy to type faster to get my work done much quicker.

The keyboard case works fine. My biggest complaint is that it does make the unit heavy, but it does detach Wish it came a choice of colors and/or patterns.

Product seems well built and holding up well so far. The hinge seems more sturdy than the last brand I had but I have not been using it very long

The case was initially easy to set up. The battery life is unbelievable! It is a substantial case and will definitely protect the iPad if it were to fall. I use this keyboard in a clinical office and use it all day long and patients never complain about it. The keys are well placed and sized.

bought as a christmas present. hubby loves it. opens and closes smooth, puts ipad into sleep when you close it.

Great keeping it safe when granddaughter is playing it, will be teaching her the keyboard when she gets older.

2 year battery life on one charge! Very sturdy and ability to remove the ipad easily from keyboard is a plus.

I've tried multiple keyboards - most of which gave up within a year- but this one is built to last. I bought it after multiple reviews from colleagues and it's everything I hoped it would be. The manual says it will last two years on a single charge - I'll let you know how that works out.

This is my second Zagg keyboard. I appreciate the lit up keyboard and the rugged design. I no longer have to worry about dropping my iPad.

It adds a good bit of weight to the iPad but you can detach the keyboard so it's a little lighter. The keyboard isn't as responsive as a computer keyboard but it's not a hassle to use. The case feels sturdy and protective. My only complaint is that the holes for the volume controls don't line up with the newest model iPads.

Previously I owned a Zagg-keys Folio keyboard. It was slim & I liked it but the hinge broke after a little over a year. I've had this one for a few weeks and compared it with the Targus Versatype. They are similar in many ways but, though this one is thicker, I like the feel of it better and have chosen the Zagg Rugged over the Targus. The iPad fits snugly into a cushioned frame, which gives more protection. Also, I like being able to easily detach the iPad section from the keyboard and use it as a tablet. I'm hoping the hinge lasts longer than my previous one - it looks as if it is more sturdy.

I had the earlier version of this unit, and the hinge gave out. When I went to replace it, they discontinued that model, so I had to upgrade. I've been very happy with this model as it provides more protection & the iPad vacant easily detach from the keyboard.

ZAGG makes a great product and a solid warranty. Construction is thick enough and fits well.

This is a great keyboard as well as a protector of my IPAD. Backlight keys are great.
