I applied the shield as directed. Yes, it may be 'strong', however viewing items on the screen was as if you were looking at them thru 'frosted glass' - everything had this slighted 'frosted' look - gone was the crystal clear view which iPad2 shows w/o any cover. I removed it (easily) after 36 hrs. I would not recommend it. I have bought another to try which is labeled 'crystal clear'. We'll see. So far, I am w/o any covering on the screen - but being careful.

I purchased this product and had the Geek Squad install it to ensure proper installation. I'm taking my iPad back to the store today to have them remove this screen protector and asking for my money back. The product distorts the quality of the iPad's screen. Remember when you were a kid and would sit too close to the t.v. how you could see that funky looking color layer when you were too close. Well that is how my iPad looks at any distance. It literally hurts my eyes to use it. I'm very unhappy with this product...it is nothing more than a waste of my money and time!

I looked at several before I purchased this one. I wanted a glare free screen that wouldn't show fingerprints. The price of $35.00 seemed high, but It looked like it would do what I needed. After a lengthly installation, by the way Best Buy offered to install this for me FOR AN ADDITIONAL $35.00 installation fee, which I declined, I finally got it installed myself. The quality is blurry but the screen does resist fingerprints, and the protection is good, as it is very thick plastic. My biggest dissapointment was with Best Buy and the handling of the installation. They should have offered to put it on as a service or charged a heck of a lot less than $35.00, the price of the Screen itself, which would have brought the screen price to $70.00!!!!!! Ouch!

I cannot stress to you enough what a waste of time this screen protector is. Forget about the rings and hoops you have to jump through to get this thing on. No thats not close to the worst of it. The worst of it is when you do get it on and you realize what a degradation of picture there is with this piece of junk on. The supposed glare proof features of this product completely take away any quality of picture that exists on the screen of the iPad. It looks clouded and whats worse pixelated. You literally see tiny rainbows on the screen from the enhanced pixelation that this causes. Bottom line is don't buy this. You're completely flushing money down the toilet.

i purchased screen protector for ipad2 the grainy effect makes the ipad impossible to read looks blurry and just terrible. The worst is that not only is the protector pricey you then have to waste $15 to have a Best Buy geek apply it for you. Why not warn the customers that this is a useless piece of trash and they might as well wait for a cheap everyday model to come out. I feel bad for the waste of time energy etc since i don't live near a Best Buy and would have not even bothered with this product. DON'T BUY THIS!!!!!!

For the price this really wasnt worth the money. It provides outstanding protection from scratches and damage to the screen. The issue that I have besides the high price was the fact that this is not a crystal clear shield. It actually distorts the clarity of the screen, pictures, games, books, comics, etc. It was an impulse but when I was buying my case and I do regret it. If it was so expensive and didn't provide such good protection I would take it off.

I had wanted something to protect my i-Pad and make it better. Because this screen protector was an expensive one, I even paid for the Geek Squad to install it for me, assuming that they are the experts. I have been so dissappointed with the screen resolution. It seems to magnify the color pixels in the screen and makes it very blurry. It does resist smudges like a trooper and protects the screen, but the haziness of the screen is a real drawback at times. My son has asked if we could just rip it off several times and I'm almost ready to agree.

This product is awful. I purchased this for my wife and installed it on her new ipad2. The install was not bad but the holes don't line up perfectly but can be aligned where it will work. Once installed I got a surprise when I looked at the screen and realized it looked like a non hd unit. The picture quality went from good to very poor. The screen looks grainy and it is hard to see any detail clearly or even read small print without fighting to try and make out the words. My screen shield also has a shiny diagonal line running across the screen. I have contacted zagg to see what they will do about it, but am still waiting for a response. If you want to have a high resolution screen and enjoy the features of your iPad, then do yourself a favor and don't waste your money on this product.

I got the anti-smudge, anti-glare protector instead of the plain original Zagg. The Best Buy salesman told me that this protector could make the screen a little darker. I asked if there was much difference and he said no. This cover leaves a fuzziness on the screen that diminishes the screen clarity significantly. Also, I only have minimal glare reduction on the screen when in regular lighting. Haven't tried it outside. Fortunately though, I have not had to test the actual protection of the of the screen cover, so I can't say that this is all bad. It may be the best screen cover, but I think I could do as well with the original cover. It just depends on what you are looking for and what you need. You may be able to sacrifice the screen clarity for the anti-smudge feature. I would go back and buy the original one but they would probably charge me $30 plus $15 to install it all over again.

Far from invisible. False info on package. Very distorted. Anyone giving this a good review either works for BB or Zagg, or they are rating the wrong product. This is not the CLEAR, INVISIBLE, original zagg protector. This is the smudge-proof INVISIBLE shield. Maybe smudge-proof, but far from viewable. Everyone should be able to at least swap this misleading, inferior product for the INVISIBLEshield we thought we were spending our hard earned money on.

This shield was the most difficult one I have ever tried to install on any device. It was also nearly impossible to get all of the bubbles out. Also a little pricey.

Bought this Invisible Shield for my daughter's new iPad. It said smudge proof and no glare which I assumed was similar to my iPhone smudgeproof/glare/matted covers, however I was wrong. This shield distorted the screen so much that my eyes hurt. VERY DISAPPOINTED with the quality of this screen cover and I've been told that it cannot be returned even though Zagg has a 45 day guarantee, it's only on online orders. Will not buy a shield from best buy again! I gave 1 star only because i couldn't give 0 stars! What a waste of money.

Bought to protect my new iPad. Bad decision. The first one I bought I had to return because there was no solution in the bottle. Well once I got a new one and it was installed I was very disappointed. I let it sit over night when I turned it on I was expecting the clear protection as I have on my iPhone. Nope. Very grainy and very hard to read. I immediately took it off and will return for the clear protector. Hopefully that will work fine.

This was easy enough to install and just as they said the bubbles go away in a few days but I found the screen difficult to read and work through with it on. The ipad screen is so bright and easy to see that its difficult to cover it over and its not worth the high price in my opinion.

I love Zagg screen protectors, but not this one. The anti-glare/smudge proof protector is just horrible. I have Zagg screen protectors on 6 different devices. I've installed 5 of them myself and let Best Buy install the other. They were all the standard one that is about $5 cheaper.They are very good in my opinion. I recommend them to everyone I know. This anti-glare protector is my first of this style and will be my last. It is awful. It distorts the image and does create the rainbow effect some have described. I bought this on recommendation from a sales associate, but should have stuck with what I knew worked. I'm taking it back tomorrow to change it out for the standard protector. This screen protector IS as bad as most everyone has described. I can't believe it is still on the market.

It accomplishes what it is suppsed to do, ie. smudge protection, but it seems to degrade the picture quality on some wegsites and games. I should have found a screen protector that was clear like on my iPhone. Overall it's OK and I will live with it for now.

Product not easy to install and is over priced. Then if you ask in the store about installation there is a $15 charge which is half of the cost of the product. This is not something I would ever recommend to another and wish I had never purchased the product.

Although the product protects the screen, it degrades the resolution tremendously. I had this installed by Geek Squad with no bubbles but the screen appears to be pixelated. It was installed about a month ago so I know it has dried. I wouldn't recommend installing it. Go for a stick on clear one and clean it often or just go without one and keep the iPad in a case.

What is the purpose of being smudge-proof if that means you lose the original sharpness of the iPad display? I would rather go 'naked' on my iPad and deal with the smudges, at least the screen still looks awesome and sharp. I returned this piece of junk.

Don't buy this screen protector for the iPad 3. Buy it for the iPad 2. The anti-glare reduces the screen clarity and sharpness on the iPad 3. Hopefully the newer versions for the iPad 3 of this Zagg screen protector will work better for the new Retina screen. I put the iPad 2 version on my iPad 3 and waited for it to clear up. Didn't work. I took it off.
