This is my absolute favorite case/keyboard for the iPad Air!! It brings it close to the status of a computer, especially with the easy to use QWERTY keyboard- and it lasts for MONTHS without having to be recharged!! Now, if they would only fix the weak spot... the hinge tends to come apart. I am on my second Zagg and have tried to preempt the problem by putting two gorilla tape pieces to keep the hinge together during stress (see the location on the photo). I love the white cover, but it gets soiled easily- one of the things I am willing to put up with because the rest of the design is so great! Hopefully the tape will work to keep the hinges together, and I will be 100% satisfied!

I purchased this item at an extremely discounted price from BestBuy, as it was highly recommended from online sources and reviewers! I have not been disappointed! The case is strong and sturdy. The backlight can be chosen from several different colors. I like the fact that the Zagg charger can be placed into the iPad charge base, this is a big upside for portability! I think the keyboard charge is a bit overstated by Zagg, so don't be surprised if you need to charge it more frequently, but you won't be disappointed by the backlight--it is awesome! Zagg makes a RUGGED version, which, from online sources, appears to be the absolute solid choice for protection for an iPad Air. I look forward to seeing what Zagg has to offer for the new iPad Air 2.

I mostly use my iPad for reading books on an over the bed tray and this folio makes a great sturdy stand for it. I would recommend it highly.

I am so disappointed. The spring mechanism broke and separated less than 2 months after I purchased. I use it very little...just for personal use, and it didn't hold up. The worst part is Best Buy told me since 15 days passed, I am on my own. I was hoping for a more reliable product.

The only thing that threw me for a loop was the lack of speaker holes for the ipad where the promotional materials all showed speaker holes cut out. After listening to some music I realized the speakers actually sound great! I was willing to cut out speaker holes myself (assuming a factory defect) because I like this product so much better than any other I've tried. I tried Logitech's ultra thin cover and folio cases and returned them both for several reasons. This Zagg case fixes all the issues I had with the Logitech keyboard cases/folios. The key layout is awesome, just like Mac. The IOS specific keys are awesome. The feel of the case is very solid. The dedicated iOS keys, tab, & caps lock keys are very efficient. The other keyboards I've tried make you use an additional fn key pressed simultaneously. That really slows things down. The dedicated undo & redo buttons are great (I want them for my Mac too!) and the Logitech's don't have them. The backlit keyboard is great and being able to chose from 7 different colors is super cool. The iPad is a bit difficult to get into and out of the case but I consider that a small price to pay for the protection offered. The other cases I tried would not protect the iPad in the event of a fall whereas this one certainly would. I've bought more logitech products over the years than I care to admit to and I've really liked all of them except their iPad keyboards. You can probably tell that I really enjoy this keyboard by how much I've used it typing this review... I'd better stop now :) ZAGG WINS this one!

I spent a lot of time searching for reviews before purchasing the ZAGG Folio keyboard and I've been extremely pleased with it. The main features I wanted in a Bluetooth keyboard were the ability to insert my device and have it function like a laptop, good battery life, and comfortable keys. The ZAGG folio delivers on all of these fronts. The folding aspect is great. The iPad attaches and detaches easily and you can fold back the screen without having it tip over like some keyboard cases do. The keys are very nice to type on and the battery life is really phenomenal. I very rarely have to charge it. It gives me the ability to use my iPad like a laptop when I need the added typing comfort.

I love this case. It is very durable and the key board is perfect. It is easy to set up. The charge is long lasting. It protects my iPad Air very nicely.

I bought this keyboard on the launch day for the Ipad air and have been using it for a month now. I have to say I was a little surprised when I came to review the product and saw it had a 3 star rating. This has totally not been my experience with the product.With that said lets move on with my review of the product. I basically bought this product because I wanted a case for this product to hold it in landscape mode and I also wanted a Bluetooth keyboard. Of course on launch day of any electronic product there is usually not many options and some times not any after market accessories at all. Of the products they had in store this one seemed like the best option to fit my needs. I see some have complained on how the case fit the keyboard. Here is what I think.... Could it be better? Yes Is it terrible? Definitely not!! I think for a LAUNCH day product they did an exceptional job. . All the cutouts for the buttons and the charging port and audio jack all line up perfectly. None of the buttons are hard to get to or operate. I think it could have maybe fit a slight bit tighter....but then it would probably bee a pain to take out. The keyboard connected to the Ipad easily. The keyboard feels very solid and is very well built. I love the option to turn on the back light on the keys when wanted to operate the keyboard in dark place. You can also turn it off for use in well lit ares to conserve battery. Speaking of battery, I have had this think for a month now on its first charge and I NEVER turn it off! When you close the case it automatically turns off the ipad screen and puts it to sleep mode. Now as for what others have nit-picked about. No you can't rotate the ipad to portrait mode. No you cant take the keyboard apart from the case to have separate pieces. Would that have been nice and a better design? Sure it would in my opinion. However, when I bought this product it never claimed to do those things. As a matter of fact it claimed not to do those things. So why would you down rate a product for something it never claimed it could do? It would make to product better though if it had those features. Overall I would say it is 4.6 stars. The case could be a little better fit. But for an early release product I can't deduct to much. I am sure future revisions will be better. It also could maybe have a little more protection from drops but I won't deduct for that because I knew that when I bought it. I love it and would buy again!

Can put my iPad Air in here and know it is protected. Really good keyboard. Do have to watch to make sure it is engaged. Sometimes if I don't, the first letter or two will be missing. Nice long charge. Easy to pop the iPad in and out. Allows the screen to be upright when I want that.

When u get a tablet, you never think that a keyboard would help you out as much as your fingers. Tablets are expensive already, so why spend more money on something you don't need.....well the Zagg keyboard is awesome and convenient! Not only do you have a keyboard that allows you to see the whole screen while typing but it also offers a carrying case that protects the tablet from minor issues. The battery life is great, the pairing between the two is flawless, and the backlight is bright enough to see at night. Overall Im happy with this purchase and find nothing wrong except there are no thrills to it.

We were looking for a keyboard case for our new iPad Air and checked out just about every available product out there but most were over priced and without backlit keyboards (very important for us). While you can find more stylish keyboard cases, none will give you a keyboard with great touch, dedicated iPad keys, excellent protection for your iPad Air, and backlit keys - all for less than $99.00! That's a win-win-win! We've had it for a couple of months now and have had absolutely NO problems with it whatsoever. Set up is as easy as snapping in your iPad Air into the frame, turning on Bluetooth on the iPad air and then turning on the keyboard. It paired instantly and we were up and running in less that 2 minutes. No, it isn't very handy when having to use the iPad Air in portrait mode, but that's really not much of a problem for us as our applications are surfing, reading, writing and editing documents, spreadsheets, and editing WordPress websites - all in landscape mode. To make a long story short - buy this keyboard case for your iPad Air! 'Nuff said.

I love the ZaggKeys Folio Case and Blue Tooth keyboard for iPad Air. It stays charged for a very long time! Very easy to type on and it isn't heavy to carry around, fits in my purse easily. Do wish there was a slot to put a Stylus.

After checking out all of the keyboards Best Buy had in stock, I decided to purchase this keyboard because it has the following exceptional qualities: Easy to pair with an iPad, customizable backlit keys (very helpful while your partner is sleeping) with really cool and fun colors, good protection for the iPad on both sides (like a closed netbook). The tablet can be positioned at any angle, not just one that's difficult to see and live with. Also, the folio covering is "grippy" - no butter fingers! Typically I have found that it is difficult for me to type accurately or with any speed on "small" keyboards, like netbooks, because of the spacing. However, this is NOT the case with the Zagg keyboard. The keyboard is smaller than a 15" laptop, but the keys are still spaced nicely. The only changes I might want for the future would be a backspace key, not just a delete key. The cover has the look and feel of nice, padded leather, but I haven't had the folio long enough to see if the white color and pebble finish will clean easily or start to look dirty. Perhaps a more durable outside case with some fun colors would be nice! All in all, I really love the keyboard/folio!!

The product itself is a classy and extremely handy addition to an iPad. The light up keys, USB functionality and rechargeable battery makes you feel like you have a small laptop, not just an iPad. It's design protects the iPad's screen when closed and it's extremely handy to have a full, tactile keyboard attached to the tablet. Unfortunately, if tilted too far open, the keyboard enclosure can break open causing the whole case to malfunction. Bottom line: this is a great case, if you take care of it and treat it correctly.

This keyboard works great and is highly recommended. Battery life is very good and the backlit keys with different color options is very nice. It makes the iPad much heavier but so does any add on keyboard. It works well on a plane because you can adjust it to any angle for viewing. This is much better than the Apple magnetic cover.

I love the Zagg keyboard and case (yes, this is a hardcase too - you can throw it in your bag) - but the cheap hinge already broke once. Recommend buying Best Buy's service/warranty if you plan to use this daily. Easy to connect to bluetooth, pretty lightweight, and keyboard is the best I have tried.

Great product, easy to set up and pair, works excellent, key brightness is an awesome feature. This thing makes your IPad Air feel like a small laptop. Keys are great for space and useable, I have big hands and can use it comfortably.

Overall this is a very nice and robust keyboard. I like the ability to change the back lighting intensity and colors. It is built really well, has great battery life and the keyboard has a professional feel to the key feedback. Overall I would highly recommend this to someone looking for a protective keyboard. The only drawback I see is that if you use an extra thick screen protector (like the new glass type) the keyboard leaves an impression in it. It caused mine to lift in the two corners where it was rubbing. I swapped this to my wife's iPad which has a standard film-type protector and the problem was solved. I don't really need the thick glass protector and I like the keyboard enough that I will eventually swap for a standard film type. That's if I can get the keyboard back from my wife. I may have to buy myself another one!

The keyboard attaches fast and easy and the keyboard is full size so it's easier to use. The Bluetooth does have to be on but it seems not to drain the battery more at all. The cover has already saved my Ipad Air on one occasion at the airport.

Wonderful keyboard. Detaches easily. Hard protective back that makes my IPAD a closed protected tool that I can take anywhere. Lights up for convenience on planes and after lights out at night.
