Some people complain that it's heavy but it wouldn't be able to balance if it weren't. This is awesome, it turns the ipad mini into a tiny little laptop. The function buttons are awesome. The backlighting is awesome. Long battery life too.

Bought this for work and for home. Wanted a slimmer case and a keyboard. This case fits closely to the iPad mini. Doesn't add much to size. The added weight is expected for the battery and keyboard. The lighted keyboard function is great. Battery life has been as advertised. Overall functionality, size and price:good purchase.

This keyboard is compact and easy to carry. Like that it protects my iPad mini. It is a bit hard to type on but that is due to not being accustomed to keyboard size. I am sure I will eventually get used to it. I do wish that Zagg carried more colors but its not a big deal. The battery lasts a good amount so far I hope I do not have to charge too often once school starts.

I have two ZAG Keyboards I love the fact that I can type at night in a dark room without the need of turning on the lights. They go a long way on a single charge . I would never buy a Ipad mini without having a Zagg ligted Keyboard !

This case couldn't be better! Easy hook-up connectivity, great build quality, and the backlit keys are amazing! It also does a great job providing a layer of protection.

... It quits working if the battery level is not high enough. I've tried other brand (Logitech Folio, which is a nice alternative), but I decided this Zagg was the winner because (PROS): the keys are larger, it offers the backlight, it's very easy to remove the iPad, it has a range of inclination. CONS: as mentioned above, the backlight doesn't work unless you keep it highly charged; the case makes it hard to swipe the screen from below and activate the shortcuts to wi-fi, Bluetooth, airplane mode etc; it is kind of heavy and not very attractive.

I bought this keyboard for use with email and working with documents (Word, One Note, etc. I am seeing that I prefer to use my laptop for those purposes. I still have the keyboard on but it is heavier and more cumbersome that the cover that I used previously. I recommend the product only if you need to do some serious input.

good product - keyboard easy - case affords good protection - battery seems adequate - make iPad mini a mini laptop - closing lid puts iPad to sleep - I like it one month into having it -

If the case was lighter & if the case went back farther it would of been fine. It was hard to make screen selections because the edge of the case was in the way. It was very annoying!!! And after having the case less than 1 week the back lit lights stopped working. I hated to return the case but had no choice. They only give you 15 days to return your items. I wasn't going to be stuck with something I wasn't completely happy with. Other than that the keyboard was excellent the battery lasted for days until I returned it. I'd reconsider buying this model again but only if the flaws was updated.

This is a great product. Definitely the best keyboard case/ cover out there and I've tried em all. Very well balanced with the iPad inside of it. Doesn't want to tip over like a lot of the others. The only problem is that I just couldn't type on it. Had it for about a week and did a lot of typing but couldn't adjust to the tiny keyboard. Again though, great product and it is perfect on the full size iPad air, but I just had a hard time using it for the mini.

I have purchased other keyboards for my iPad mini and and they never compared to this product at all! This is the best out of all them! It has the best features such as multi lights of different colors, the keyboard toggles through most programs, the keyboard actual will work in many apps .

Love having the ability to use a fully functioning keyboard for my iPad mini, also love the backlit feature it is very nice when using @ my dimly lit massage office & late nights while working in bed. One of the best purchases I've invested in!

I love to have a keyboard so I a full screen available on the iPad mini to view the item. This folio allows you to put screen at many angles to fit you sitting or standing position to it is easy-to-read. It has the largest keyboard I've seen for a mini-iPad and doesn't compromise the Qwerty layout by doubling up on letters or symbols. It has some unique keys that recognize actions that frequently used.

Nice keyboard a little over priced but a nice case and keyboard overall

It is light and protects my ipad. BUT, It is hard touch the bottom of the ipad screen when I need to hit enter if the enter button on the keyboard doesn't work. I like the backlight also. Well worth the money spent!

I'm in the film biz and use it to write screen plays & ideas on the go. It not only protects the iPad but looks professional and I can change the brightness on the key pad and color depending on we're I'm using it. Works great on the plane late at night! A must get!

Simple to setup. Protects the IPad. Battery has excellent life. As soon as the IPad is turned on, the folio is ready to use. Very sturdy construction. The tilt angle is just right.

Easy to use and everything works well. Only complaint is that you cannot use the corners of the iPad when keyboard is attached.

I started with the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard Cover for iPad mini, but didn't like that it only attached by magnet on the side hinge. It came off too easily and didn't always stay aligned in order for the automatic screen shut-off to work at every closure. The Zagg does! I don't miss being able to quickly detach my mini, although it is pretty easy to remove from the case. I love the backlit keys, and the fact that you can change their color! The keyboard layout is very user-friendly and has a great tactile feel. I almost didn't give it five stars because of the difficulty getting used to the crowded placement of the keys on the far left and far right, which make accuracy of the 1/Q/A/Z and Delete/Enter keys a bit hit-and-miss sometimes, but I'll chalk that up to just needing to get used to it. It makes my iPad mini a true mini computer, and I don't ever have to worry about a case! Nice look, feel, functionality and price.

I am very happy with the keyboard. I have been using it for a few weeks and still have not charged the battery. It's sturdy, something I was looking for as I use it for work, and very responsive.
