The event of 9/11 set this films events into motion, with the hunt for Osama Bin Laden .

Whether many would care to admit it or not, the hunt and eventual killing of Osama Bin Laden is an extremely significant historical event, and one of the victories we have seen in the war on terror. Director Kathryn Bigelow goes back to somewhat familiar territory (after the acclaimed Hurt Locker) with a cast of less known actors and actresses to create a sense of what the hunt for the FBI's most wanted man was like. I feel like some liberties were taken for dramatic effect, but they are not too far out of scope so as to make film unenjoyable. We all know the ending, but it's the trip that gets us there that will have you wanting to see what happens next. Recommended.

One of the best war films in recent years. Top shelf direction from Kathryn Bigalow.

The story of this movie is definitely deep. I would recommend checking it out.
