Just now seeing this movie several years after it's release and loved it from start to finish. Acting was great, action sequences were awesome! The true story of how Bin Laden was found and destroyed in stunning detail!!

I'm not the kind of person that you would expect to love a movie like this. I'm a pacifist and an outspoken war critic. I watched this movie out of curiosity and because of my respect for the people behind it. I knew that it had to be more than the war propaganda people were claiming it was. It is much more than that. This film is about historiography and the nature of desire. In a way, this is a post-9/11 "Moby Dick." What does it mean to chase something for so long, to sacrifice so much... and then actually achieve your goal? Is it satisfying? Was it worth the journey? Was it even a worthwhile goal? The film deals with some of the biggest issues of our time: terrorism, torture, foreign policy, democratization, national security, etc. But it is a postmodern take on all of these things. What does it mean to value the things we value? Are they worth valuing? "Zero Dark Thirty" is a thoughtful examination of parts of our culture that are not always thoughtfully examined. Watch the movie critically, ask it questions and see what questions it asks of you. You can get lost in it, because it is powerfully acted and beautifully filmed (plays on light and dark, light washing out details, darkness revealing details, etc.). But don't expect simply to be entertained. This is a complicated movie that is more than a war film or political thriller. It begs for and deserves your attention.

I didn’t get a chance to see this movie when it came out. I found it in the bargain bin and bought it. What a great movie about the capture and takeout of osama bin laden. Highly recommended.

Great movie, based on true events and one of the soldiers has two more movies that are based on true events. I enjoyed this movie very much and for the price, even better.

Zero Dark Thirty is very very very very very awesome

Found this in the "discount" bin while shopping for a TV. This movie was well acted and produced. It is a must see story documenting justice served to the chief architect and perpetrator of one of the horrific events of a generation's lifetime.

An elite team of military black opts working halfway across the globe to get their man Osama bin Laden and this movie will show all why he didnt get AWAY!!

I upgraded my Blu Ray to the 4K version and watched it on my 65" Sony OLED and OPPO 4K player and it was a stunning difference. This was my 3rd viewing of this masterpiece and it never fails to keep my interest. Jessica Chastain, Jason Clarke, and others were superb in this carefully crafted tale of 'spy craft', dedication to the mission, and patience. The years it took to get actionable intelligence, leading to the raid on the 'compound' is mind blowing. The raid itself is extraordinary by any standard and is riveting. I don't believe that all the torture scenes actually happened but hey.....who knows? A great watch and I highly recommend.

This movie was full of tension and anxiety as the characters were working to find their objective albeit the difficulties of working within the bureaucracy. A well done project.

This shows how the heroic team that took out one of the biggest threats to America was systematically taken out. Amazing story!!

The storyline was done well along with some real solid acting. This isn't a run-and-gun type movie; it has some good action moments but it's the overall story that gives it 4 stars.

I wanted this as soon as I saw it was available. It starts out a little slow but doesn’t disappoint through to the end!

I loved Zero Dark Thirty when it was released in theaters and so glad I can now re-watch it whenever I want to.
