Love this gimbal!!

I need something to travel light with and to be able capture those unexpected moments with my kids. This fit the bil perfectly. Works great and even has controls on it for my iPhones video settings. Couldn’t be happier.

Ideal for smaller smartphones, not larger ones

I initially had used it with an iPhone X, and it worked well and had great image stabilization. However, once I upgraded to an iPhone XS Max, it was too heavy, and the gyroscope did not allow for the camera to be leveled. Provided an uneven camera angle.

The pairing procedures in the instructions leave a lot to be desired and still have not been able to pair to my phone. But the basic functions worked well enough. The app involved with the product is obviously not English as the primary language and has few instructions.

Not Recommended. iOS Software is Buggy

The Zhiyun seems like a good deal and value, it comes with lots of extras in the box (case, carry strap, USB cables) but what makes or breaks a gimbal is the software on your phone. Why? Because the software makes your Gimbal smart, you need it for calibration, and for features like auto-follow. Unfortunately, the Zhiyun software is buggy, unintuitive, requires constant pairing every use, and is generally just a pain (3.2 stars on the iOS app store). Skip this gimbal or spend a few more bucks for a better name brand with way better software (and US support)

Awesome Product!

When using the software you can choose a person or object you want to track and it tracks it excellent! You can buy a stand for the handheld gimbal place it on a tripod select an object or person to track and it would do the rest for you. Best product for this! Better than the DGI.
