I love this thing. Very smooth and record my video smooth. Only down fall is my Note 20 Ultra is a little too big for the holder and the app is expensive, but this package come with a year service free and the record and zoom function on the Gimbal only works with the app.

I have had a couple of previous smartphone stabilizers, so I pretty much aware of their capabilities, but I like that Zhiyun was able to make a foldable stabilizer because, sometimes full-size stabilizers have been to bulky for me. This one is lightweight, but I love the features, especially an LED letting me know which mode I'm in. I think the real bonus of the Q3 is the video light. That is a game-changer. I really like that I can switch it forward or rear-facing, depending on how I'm filming. Although I almost exclusively film in landscape. I like the fact that I can change it to portrait mode with a press of a button. I shoot real estate videos, so I want my videos to look like they're floating, and with this stabilizer, my videos have so far all been excellent. It takes a lot to impress me, but I am thoroughly impressed.

I own a Zhiyun Crane M2 and have had a very positive experience with its versatility. I had high hopes for the Smooth Q3 because it's from Zhiyun, but it's nowhere near as versatile. It's limited in what positions it can shoot, where some modes result in the tilt arm literally covering the camera. Also, tilting the gimbal horizontally to shoot forward does not work as the phone will remain tilted, thus making it impossible to keep it form pointing towards the ground. This gimbal is just not for me but fine for other types of users.

Difficult software to use. It’s simple to connect but hard to maintain connection. Has connections issues and the software was very slow and laggy off and on WiFi. Even tried different phone with different carrier and same thing. When it does work it’s simple use.

It was a bit wonky to set up but once you get the hang of it it’s great!

Worked great with my iPhone 13 max plus. The app that it comes with makes it easy to use. Great when running around with the kids. The case is a plus also.

This is an amazing piece of tech! Can be used when you’re just sitting at your desk at home making content &/or talking hands free on FaceTime for video calls. Or if you’re into making content on the go. It would also be perfect if you’re recording sports, & action movements etc.

Quick and easy to figure out, and with so many how to videos online, it won’t take long to figure out how cool this is. Looking forward to using it for recording upcoming travels in Europe. Highly recommend.

I had connection problems I'm not sure if it's was my phone or the gimbal, I have note 20 and I couldn't connect.

Just what I need. I’m just using it for improving my personal pictures and video, so the price is just right. Also, I fail to find any imperfections or bugs so far. Works with, or without app(limited tasks).

Easy to set up and use. Was a little wary of downloading an app to use it. Works well and far cheaper than other gimbles I've seen.

I used my Best Buy credit card points on this and it really gets the job done! Just slap a phone in it and wham!

Great little phone gimbal for the price! I chose this over the DJI gimbal because you can see what mode you’re in without having to go into it’s respective app.

I had been considering a gimbal for my phone, but instead used the software stabalization on the phone. I couldn't pass on the price for this one and BOY was I missing out by relying on software stabilazation. Video and images with this gimbal are so MUCH better and more pleasant to watch. If you are on the fence like I was, I know you won't be disappointed.
