This rice cooker is a little expensive, but don't let that scare you. It is well worth it. You don't have to worry about rice sticking to the non stick pan. There is no heating coil. It is relatively small, and the instructions are very easy to follow. You can say "Why spend near $300 on a rice cooker, when I can get one for $25 at another store?" What I say to that is, my rice cooker will out cook, and out last every $25 dollar rice cooker you have to buy.
I would recommend this to a friend

Zojirushi makes perhaps the finest rice cookers. This product is Micom+Induction Heating. It is compact: we only wanted a 3 cup rice cooker to meet the needs of just my wife and myself. It cooks rice evenly inside and out, it cooks uniformly. It cooks every kind of rice you think of. It cooks with some extra time required, mostly because it is cooking the rice thoroughly and to perfect. The rice tastes superb - and my wife agrees, and she is Japanese and has been coking rice for the two of us for 30 years. This rice cooker is more expensive, but it should last forever.
