clear sound this device is compact delivers superior sound for music & movies

Was just looking for an improvement to flat screen TV sound and this provides that. If you are an audiophile looking for surround sound, you'll not be happy with this. The 320 model doesn't work with Netflix, you cannot get enhanced sound through the TV when you connect to Netflix -- very disappointing. But the sound can get very load and it does sound more crisp.

The sound quality is a little muffled, but better than the TV's built-in speakers. I was looking specifically for a narrow width 'sound base' to place my TV on top of, and the size is perfect. For under $100 as an open box item, it works well in a bedroom setting. I would have returned it if I had paid full price, there is better quality sound for similar prices. Previously I had a cheap Vizio 2.1 soundbar and subwoofer, which sounded better but it was too wide and obstructed part of the TV and cable box.

I got this to improve sound quality of my TV and for the voice clarification feature. I have a mild hearing loss and thought that the voice clarification would help me hear dialogue more distinctly. The speaker was satisfactory in both respects, producing what I would call good but not exceptional sound. Because of the improvement I would buy this speaker again and probably will get another in the future for my other TV. I was very happy with how easily the speaker was set up and set to work with my TV remote.

Purchased this for older relative. My experience with an upgraded model sold me on the lesser model for her. Simple, obscured in cabinet and synced easily with cable remote.

Best part of the experience was the positive attitude of the sales person and how accurately he 'read' my ability to understand the information he was giving me without getting too technical.

We enjoy the Zvox 320 so much, we also bought a 420. We got separate Bluetooth for the 320 & it sounds very good.

Sounded very cheap and had no bass. I wish I could have heard it in the store I would not have ordered it. I bought it based on what I had read on the web. People that said it sounded good must not have very much experience with quality sound. I returned it and bought a VIZEO sound bar with a subwoofer and it sounds 10 times better and did not cost as much. Don't waste your money.

Sound from this soundbox is great. The voice enhancement feature is wonderful for older folks who have trouble understanding what people are saying on TV. It comes with 3 types of cabes to cover whatever connection type you have. The setup instructions are very poor. I've been doing computer/electroniics work foor 35 yrs and had to have my nephew help me get it to work. I had the wiring correct, but I didn't program my TV to tell it the sound box was there. The instructions never mentioned anything about doing that - they made it seem like the box was plug & play.

The sound quality is excellent and looks very stylish in our tv room.

I like the sound and size. What I don't like is that the sound will shut off on it's own when I pause or fast forward while watching a movie. When this happens, I have to rewind the movie again to get the sound back on.

This sound bar produces surprisingly crisp sound and good deep base. It is an excellent alternative to the puny tv speakers and unless you are an audiophile, this is all you need.

I was in the market for a sound bar and the best buy staff suggested this. I did not even take it out of the box before I took it back. I wanted something with blue tooth to stream my music from but you have to connect i phone, etc. up. May have great sound but never tried.

Had been looking for a speaker system to hook to my macbook pro at the office. Saw and heard several inexpensive ones (i.e. less than 50 buck). Was not happy with what I heard. Decided I was going to have to spend some more money, Looked at several multi box sets (2 speakers plus a sub to go under the desk). Heard some decent ones. But this really works as both a near field monitor (i.e. sitting darn close to the speakers), and also as an office filling sound machine. When the office is empty I can crank it up. When not I get great sound at low volume without headphones or earbuds which kind of bug me.

We purchased a Sony $300 sound bar and subwoofer. I was not impressed with the sound at all and the best buy rep told us about the Zbox and I was hesitant. Looked like a speaker from 5 years ago. Once I hooked it up and fit it right under the media center this thing blew me away. The sound was so full and perfect for our master bedroom. It sounds like a full 5.1 surround and has great range. No audio plug for a mobile device and music is the only negative that I would say. Xbox rocks and I would highly reccomend the line.

This is the second ZVOX system that I have purchased over several years. Sound quality is great. When listening to some music, I hear some soft instruments that I was not able to hear with other equipment.

The unit was supposed to mimick surround sound. Not even close. It is just a speaker with an amplifier attached.
