Its a Great Adventure!

Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I bought this game so that my wife (non-gamer) and I could have something to play together on our new PS5. She loved it! Not only that, but my two kids (4 & 6) started to play it and really enjoy it! This was essentially the first video game they have played and caught on super quick! Its very fun as you can collect bells on the different levels in order to utilize them to buy different costumes for Sackboy (see the picture for an example). It is well worth your money with the amount of levels the game has. One cool thing is that there is ten team levels in the game where you have unlimited lives in order to get through the level. It builds teamwork as you can't beat them without the help of each other.

Best PS5 launch title
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value4 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5This is my favorite release title on the PS5. For the first couple of sections in the first world, I thought this was going to be a boring game because they were relatively easy and not especially compelling. But the difficulty and variety ramp up, and by the time you are halfway through the first world, you will be totally engrossed. One important note: when you put the disc in and it begins downloading, it gives you the option of starting play before the download is complete. DON’T DO THIS! Let it completely download before playing. I started before it completely downloaded and I couldn’t progress past the first world. When I tried to go to the second world, I kept getting a message saying This World is Still Downloading. Try Again Later. I had to contact Sony to figure out what was going on. I ended up having to delete the game and then reinstalling. Now it’s working perfectly.

Sackboy: new look, same fun feel
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5I have played all of the “little big planet” games since the start of the series for PS3. In Sackboys adventures, they abandoned the classic side scroll platforming style for a more third person view. While initially I was apprehensive to this change, after playing I see it as a definite improvement to the game. The co op play is super fun and they’ve added many gadgets that you can use that improve your characters mobility, and make you think of new, fun, and creative ways to work as a team and problem solve the challenges the game presents you, while still maintaining the same feel as they have always had. Even though it’s rated E, I still have a great time playing with friends and family of all ages.

Great first outing on PS5
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Sacboy's first adventure on PS5 is pretty great. The visuals and load times are great, and the addition of hints through the PS5 card system are pretty cool when you get stumped. I did run into a strange issue when I loaded the game the second time where it tried to load as a PS4 title. To fix this I had to press options and then choose to load as a PS5 game. I'm sure this is an early PS5 bug that will likely be fixed soon, but worth noting.

Polished, fun, light-hearted family platformer!
|Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Was looking for a fun, family game I could play with my wife using two controllers on the couch. I wasn't expecting much beyond a standard platformer but was so pleasantly surprised by this game. Fantastic graphics, music and gameplay. It's very light-hearted and upbeat and the interactions between the two 'sacks' when you're playing co-op add a special touch. We had a great time and my wife normally doesn't play games - it was still very easy to pick-up and enjoy. The specially designed co-op levels are a real treat.

Fun Family Game
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.Features
Quality5 out of 5Value5 out of 5Ease of Use5 out of 5Bought this for my wife since she’s a big Little Big Planet fan. I didn’t expect to play myself, but it’s actually really fun to play multiplayer. My 4 year old daughter even started playing with us. It’s the first time she’s ever played a console game. It’s been fun watching her play and get better every day. Overall this is a very fun game to play and pretty cool with the PS5 Dualsense Controller.

Q: QuestionIs this a four player game? If not which ones are?
Asked by ZagaDad.
- A:Answer It is 4 player! I've been playing with my friend and it's so much fun!

Q: QuestionHi! I was wondering if this new addition to the little big planet franchise will have DLC or skins we can purchase from the PlayStation Store? Also will there be online multiplayer with a create mode? Thanks!
Asked by Nate.
- A:Answer There is no create mode. I don't think there's online multiplayer either. But all for good reason. This is a "Point A to Point B" platforming game. Not so much the physics-based platformer that LBP is known for. Sackboy Adventures is a departure from LBP style of play. That being said, this game is fantastic in its own right :)

Q: QuestionJust a simple question since im getting into little bigplanet uh, I was wondering if this was going to be couch co-op?
Asked by minecraft.
- A:Answer Yes, this newest addition to LBP franchise will again have local multi-player 1-4 (couch co-op).

Q: QuestionCan this be played online with other PS4 players and/or platforms?
Asked by Brit.
- A:Answer Yes. Online co-op play has just been patched in as of 12-17-2020. The game supports up to four players, and should have crossplay between PS4 and PS5.
