Agree with previous review. Have had our icemaker replaced multiple times. Refrigerator is now seven years old and compressor stopped working. The repair man does not work with new refrigerant and labor alone would cost approximately $1500 to replace the compressor. The repair person strongly suggested to stay away from Samsung as they haven’t figured out this new refrigerant, and don’t standby their product. What is a person to do who has matched every other appliance in the kitchen to this one?

I expected more from a very expensive unit. The ice maker stopped working after a few years and Samsung would not stand by their product. If this were a $1000 or even a $2000 unit it would not bother me as much. I paid somewhere around $3500 for this unit with the thought that I would get better quality than cheaper units. I was wrong and have cheaper older units from other manufactures that have outperformed this model. I would not purchase a Samsung again.
