Q: Does this have a food grinder or do you have to clean the filter manually?
A: It has a grinder
A: This is a heat and moisture guard for countertops that are wood or something that could be damaged by heat and moisture. We have granite so we didn't even install. I suspect it's because the washer automatically opens the door when done washing to help it dry and air out. If you have granite or stone don't install. If you have wood based or such then you need to center to the top and apply across top and down the sides a bit.
Q: Does this dishwasher have heated dry feature? Or is it air dry only?
A: Its air dry only. The door opens at the end of the cycle to help dry, but I usually wait until the next day to unload so it can dry a bit more.
A: Mine came with a kick plate.
A: It's metal inside and it sanitizes. It is, however, difficult to install. My husband, who has quite a bit of experience installing appliances, had a devil of a time.
A: Under two years and mine won't even power up anymore. Stay away
Q: Is this washer finger print resistant?
A: Yes. It stays clean without any issues. I've had other appliances that leave marks. This one is good at not doing that.
