Sauder - Beginnings Writing Table - Black

I bought this product to replace my old, falling-apart desk. I am greatly satisfied that it met all my needs: a small desk table to sit at with my laptop, comfortably small to fit my tiny room, and a small shelf to put things on. This desk table can't handle a too much pressure or weight on top, but can have a few large textbooks and my laptop. I really like this table and am so glad that I took advantage of the clearance sale they were having. I recommend this product to anyone who needs a simple desk to do simple laptop/computer/writing/non-heavy-workload needs.

Was looking for a "cheap" table (under $100) to use at home. This table is very functional, pretty stylish, and is deceptively deeper than one would expect - especially if you do not put in the shelf. I like that it's fairly customizable (with or without shelf) and has a cord hole. It's a little crowded if you have a second monitor, but otherwise is a great study desk for a grad student in a small apartment.

easy to put together and looks great. It is small--not a full sized desk by any means, but it's big enough for a laptop and a lamp and a cup of coffee.

This study table is the perfect size. lots of space to put your study materials. It is very sturdy and the color doesn't fade. Just make sure to put a coaster if you plan on placing a drink on the table so it doesn't leave a mark (just like any other table)

I bought this desk about a year ago to hold my 19" TV on the top shelf in my bedroom. The set up was easy and it's a sturdy desk. The black paint on desk chipped off and I can see the wood underneath, but I don't mind it a lot. This is a good desk for small bedrooms and I like the design.

Very solid table with glass top hatch. I use this as a vanity - it's so versatile! There's a cut out for cables as well. It's a fantastic desk for a small area with plenty of under space for a chair or additional storage. Instructions are easy to follow. This is a solid and heavy desk - it doesn't wiggle around while you're using it. Very happy with this purchase.

i have a small home office. This is a great addition to the spot. Came with a small dent in furniture but can happen with this size of product ... Maybe packaging inside for product could be better

This desk does what it's supposed to, it's cheap and sturdy. It is easy to assemble (though requires a screwdriver - not included) - a bit more challenging than ikea furniture. I have even using it for a month or so - no problems whatsoever except for the fact that the edge of the writing surface is a little sharp and can be rough on your wrists. Nothing too serious, but still. Overall, no regrets.
