Win !...good ....Now days every tech has to be smart to be good... Which not likely but I can say this smart thermostat gives the best out of it... what I like the most is the control from the phone since you can monitor temp at home or can schedule or even a few mins before getting home set temperature and avoid that wait time when arriving and turning on or setting a lower/higher temp to get the desired climate... Definitively an excellent piece of tech and does not needs a dedicatedy power supply... Wifi comp...After buying the Nest protect carbon monoxide alarm (two of them) and then getting the Nest Outdoor cam and the regular Nest Cam I decided to go for the Thermostat and it is such a joy to be able to change temperature from my phone and the way the device "learns" and adjust the temperature for you when you are not home is such a plus.

It's ok...Love it...This thermostat connects to the Orbi without issue, but if the thermostat drops from the network, it seems to (more often than not) require that the SSID be broadcast from the router if the thermostat is going to reconnect automatically....I never have to worry if I forgot to adjust it before I leave because I can set it up on a schedule and I knows when I am home and what temperature I like it at.

So easy...Love it...Works great as a thermostat I bought 2 one for upstairs and one for the main floor the room sensors need some work they are a little inacurate about 2 degrees off and alexa needs to be removed I talk to one and they both answer its anoying it also has very basic function not all capabilities like the echo dot but im very happy with them and the weather on the main screen is a plus has better functions than the nest you get more bang for your buck with the ecobee...Bought this for the multiple room sensors and Apple home kit interface The setup could be a bit better but after everything was set up it worked great Works like a charm when I leave the house it shuts off when I come home it turns on when I go to the bedroom it sets the temp to what I want to sleep to and keeps it that way all night Really great

Love it...Love ??...I do wish you could offset the range on the geofencing but it is a radius around the thermostat location which is OK but during the summer I spend a lot of weekend days during the summer on the river within a mile of my house, but if that is the only issue I have Ill just disable the geofencing during those days....The hardest part was repairing the hole the previous thermostat made, I know this kit comes with the larger white plate to cover those holes but I like the look of just the thermostat alone.

Love it...The Best...I love the fact that they can detect if a room is unoccupied and therefor will focus on making sure the rooms that are occupied are at the desired temperature....They seem to work at a good distance from the ecobee3, but if you have a sprawling ranch with a single zone, you may hit the limits (45' per docs).

Love it...Love it....It was relatively straightforward, I unscrewed the panel on the heating system, added a jumper wire between the Y and G terminals; on the thermostat end, I inserted what was the G wire into the C terminal....Unfortunately this is why I give the 4-stars, you need to either add a new wire to the bundle if your existing unit only has four-wires, use the green wire in place of the "C" and jumper inside the furnace or add an additional 24-VAC transformer for thermostat power.
