threeD™ surround dry: Clothes move three-dimensionally through high-velocity air, asymmetric paddles and a super-smooth, snag-free, stainless-steel drum. This results in even drying at safe, moderate temperatures.

685 holes in the back of the stainless-steel drum allow for high air velocity. When you have lots of air, you don't need blast-furnace temperatures to dry clothes quickly. It's a different way of thinking that results in a gentler way of drying.
