This is exactly what I needed for my xm radio
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Everything is straight forward install. *Pro tip* Get an old credit card, and a super long screwdriver, when installing the antenna in the front. Use the grommit in the door to get the wires inside easier access. If that's too much for you. Connection in the back is easier because it's only 3 to 4 inches outside, then inside just hide all the wire ninja style. I did it in the front because my path was kind of drawn out in the Prius. Don't pay a bunch of money for the installation..you can do it. I believe in you.

SXM for Remote Travel!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had planned a trip to Minnesota and knew that rental car companies now charge $5 a day to access SXM. Since I could not locate my power cord for my Onyx, I decided to buy this special package. I found the cord in my suitcase before the flight but decided to drive to the Best Buy in Roseville anyway as I had committed to buy the item. It does give you many more items you might need for the times you travel in a vehicle that does not have onboard SXM.

Good but Not Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Does what is is intended to do. The Dash mount bracket is junk—doesn’t securely hold your radio. If you want it to stay in place and not swivel around, you will need to glue it or use something to keep it in place. Other than that, everything else does what it should

Above all, good purchase
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The only thing my boyfriend did not like about this is that it didn't come with a suction cup for the windshield. He is pleased with the item itself.

Q: QuestionWill this work for a 2002 Honda Civic? Thanks for any help!
Asked by Gregg.
- A:Answer This is a universal kit that allows you to use a variety of Sirius/XM portable radio receivers. It will work in any vehicle as long as you have a compatible Sirius/XM radio unit and a 3.5mm AUX jack on your vehicle's radio. If your car radio doesn't have an AUX port, you'll need to get an FM radio transmitter/car adapter to go along with the setup. I hope this helps.

Q: Questionif there is no aux jack on the front of the radio i will need to pull the radio out to access the back???
Asked by sparky.
- A:Answer If your radio does not have an Auxiliary Input then you should use the FM modulator built into your satellite radio and purchase an optional FM Direct adapter Model # FMDA25. The FM Direct adapter connects between your vehicle antenna and your vehicle radio and it connects to the SiriusXM Interoperable vehicle kit. Then when you turn on your satellite radio the FM direct adapter disconnects the vehicle's antenna to prevent external interference and connect the FM modulator in the satellite radio directly to the antenna input on the back of vehicle's radio giving high quality FM audio to your vehicle's radio without any external interference. See a preset on your vehicle radio and on your satellite radio and you are good to go. The if you want to listen to FM or AM, just turn off the satellite radio and normal radio operation is restored on your vehicle radio. Turn on your satellite radio and it is automatically connected to your radio. SiriusXM recommends professional installation of the FMDA25 because it requires access to the back of your vehicle's radio.

Q: QuestionPurchasing a 2023 Kia Seltos S. Vehicle is not Sirius equipped. Is the module used in factory applications available to retrofit and use the head unit? Not looking for add on modules that cannot be hidden or work through the factory head unit.
Asked by Bruce.
- A:Answer You would need to consult with your dealer to see if they offer a factory tuner installation after the sale as none are available for retrofit. You might want to look at the Roady BT model #SXVRBT1 which can connect via Bluetooth or Aux input to your KIA head unit. Not exactly hidden but can be installed in a lot of discrete locations compared to our prior offerings.

Q: QuestionWill my NVGA1 antenna work fine with the SiriusXM - Roady BT Satellite Radio or do some of the channels require the new NVGA3?
Asked by Goose.
- A:Answer The NGVA1 antenna will work but the NGVA3 that comes with the Roady BT will work much better at preventing audio mutes and dropouts.
Answered by SiriusXMProductExpert
Q: QuestionWill this vehicle kit work with the SiriusXM - Roady BT Satellite Radio?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer No, the Interoperable Vehicle kit is not compatible with the Roady BT radio. The Roady BT radio comes with everything you need to install it in one vehicle. To move it to another vehicle you will need an extra NGVA3 antenna plus a dash mount. These two accessories come with the Roady BT but are not practical to move from vehicle to vehicle so you would need these two items to move the Roady BT DCU, Display Cable and IPA to the next vehicle.
