Amazing Lens!
This lens I did a lot of research on before I purchased and I compared this to the sigma and the Sony 1.2 50 mm G master. Most of the consensus was it's a no-brainer with purchasing this lens, it is incredibly fast, great with autofocusing and that iris lock button is great to have. Also very and I mean very sharp. Also lightweight and compact compared to other lenses which makes it more of a joy to carry it around and shoot more often instead of always carrying heavy equipment. I am definitely having fun with this lens and if you're in the market for a gmaster I definitely say go this route. You will not be disappointed.

Light weight, Crisp, Fast, and great Bokeh
This is an amazing lens, possibly the best 50mm lens for the Sony systems, If you are worried about keeping your setup lightweight, with the highest image quality possible and fastest autofocus, this is the lens to get. The jump in price for the 1.2 GM lens does not seem worth the money for how little difference in perfomance you actually get. If you've had the less expensive 50mm 1.8 lens from Sony and feel you are ready to upgrade to the next step, I would definitely pick this up over the 1.2

Sony FE 500mm F1.4 G
Amazing glass that impressed the 1st night I took it out for a project. Great match with the FX6. My Best Buy sale advisor was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful assisting my decision to purchase this lens. I trust the Best Buy staff to give me the bottomline in order to make an important purchase of this magnitude.
