Q: Does the PS5 controller have a manufacturer warranty? Is so, how long? Thx!
A: They have 1 year warranty but you have to ship it back to them on your dime. I had a controller which had terrible stick drift so I sent it in only for Sony to send me a "replacement" controller which got the stick drift issue 2 months later. I reshipped the "replacement" controller back to Sony but they said they wouldn't replace it as it was now past the one year warranty... I was out the $25 for shipping. I am now on the 3rd PS5 controller due to stick drift. Sony needs to take some responsibility for there faulty product and should at least take care of the shipping.
Q: Does the controller come with a USB or is it completely Bluetooth wireless?
A: The only time this needs to be plugged in besides the initial sync is to charge it with a usb c cable. The two new controllers DO NOT COME WITH A CABLE.
Q: Is this compatible with PC/ Steam games?
A: Yes. You would need a usb a to usb c cable that supports data transfer.
Q: Why does the release date say the 18th when other places are saying it is June 11th?
A: Its different for every store here its the 18th gamestop is the 1th and target it the 25th
Q: Do these new controllers have less incidence of Drift ?
A: They will be using the exact same components in this controller as they will any other Dualsense, or modern analog stick controller. The rate of "stick drift" will vary per manufacturing tolerances and how the product is used and cared for, or not cared for. Your mileage may vary, in other words. They have warranties for a reason.
A: It’s says 6/18 for all retailers. This was probably a decision by Sony to release a full week before 3rd party retailers on their website to drive business to themselves.
A: Nope, just had my less than 1 year start drifting about 10 months in. Its the new rumble feature. Turn your vibration lower on the controller. I will possibly be buy the 2 year warantee since both of my controllers started drifting before a full year.

Perfect controller – comfortable, responsive, and

PSS 5 controller
I recently picked up the Chrome White PS5 controller and it exceeded my expectations. The finish looks incredibly sleek and premium the chrome white color really stands out and gives it a clean, modern look that’s different from the standard controller. Performance-wise, it’s exactly what you’d expect from a PS5 controller: super responsive buttons, smooth analog sticks, and the adaptive triggers and haptic feedback make games feel much more immersive. The grip is comfortable even during long gaming sessions, and the build quality feels solid. Battery life has been good for me so far, and pairing it with the PS5 was instant and hassle-free. Overall, if you want a controller that performs great and looks unique, the Chrome White version is definitely worth it. Highly recommend!
