Looks good
Excellent for my golf cart. Didn’t want to spend a fortune on a radio that wasn’t going to get used. This one worked perfectly. Came with plugs to waterproof the back of the unit. Matched marine Sony speaker 6.5in. Very loud with decent midrange.

Definitely yes.
I have this paired to a couple of old RS Optima bookshelf speakers and have it inside of my Catalina 34' sailboat. If you're as old as I am you know the RS speakers I refer to. Anyway the system is solid and sounds fantastic. For normal listening volume is around 25. Max is 50. No distortion but I realize a small amp would probably also help nicely. Not hundred percent necessary in my case and if I add cockpit speakers then probably not at all. I am 60yo so keep this in mind. If I was in my 20's and this was in a ski boat then obviously things would be different but this is a excellent starting point to build on. One thing I especially like, and purchased specifically with this in mind, is that the readout is against a light grey background so I can actually read it...!! Bonus is it looks very nice installed and the lights are dimable.
