You must also purchase a garbage disposal from Best Buy for installation.WHAT IS INCLUDEDA professional installer will:Come to your homePerform a site survey to determine if the service can be completed: Document any existing damage, blemishes , defects, corrosion, substandard hookups or code violations on surrounding structure, plumbing and electrical services Determine and document any charges necessary for additional labor, parts or permitsAdvise you to prepare for shut-down of services, as necessary Walk through installation details Provide adequate protection to all surrounding walls, flooring, cabinets, countertops, fixtures and appliancesUnpack, inspect and prepare dishwasher for service Install one (1) dishwasher to manufacturer's specifications: Terminate hot water service and electrical service Disconnect mechanical services from existing dishwasher and cap as necessary Modify existing dishwasher, if necessary, to allow clearance through existing opening but not to exceed authorized additional charge estimate to customer Perform appropriate drilling if side-mounting is necessary and possible Connect electrical service as required by National Electrical Code Ensure dishwasher is properly grounded Connect hot water feed to dishwasher and discharge hose to drain system as required by Federal, State and Local plumbing codes; turn on hot water feed and check all connections Install one (1) garbage disposal to manufacturer's specifications: Disconnect and remove trap and drain line connector from disposer Terminate electrical service and drain sink Remove existing mounting ring and clean sink flange of all debris and install new mounting ring Connect electrical service as required by National Electric Code and ensure disposer is properly grounded Reconstruct drain line connections, reattach discharge hose/boot from dishwasher and ensure hose is properly looped Test dishwasher and garbage disposal and monitor all connections Inspect and ensure any surrounding mechanical services are intact and free of leaks Inspect and ensure dishwasher tub, all motor seals, pump seals, fill-valve tubing, etc. are free of leaks at all visible locations Reverse door and access cover color panels if desired by customer On dual-drawer dishwashers, ensure all accessories are installed Level dishwasher Test drain line connections, discharge hose connection and disposer Monitor disposer and all connections to ensure proper installation and operation Remove carton and packing materials from premises Ensure all work areas are neat, clean and dry Walk through a demo showing basic operations of the new appliance Review service warranty terms and Best Buy in-home installation and service toll free phone number Recycle old appliances if desiredNote:Dishwasher and garbage disposal installation service not available in Hawaii.
