Near Must-Own For Any HD Star Wars Junkie!
||Posted .When this Blu-ray steelbook was on sale for 9.99 on May 4th, you couldn't pass it up even if you own the original trilogy on Blu-ray already. the collectable steelbook is worth the price of admission for 9.99. However, be warned. The extras are scarce on these and no Digital Copies at all. This set is very bare bones. Only get this edition if you want the collectable packaging or if you must own everything Star Wars.

Star Wars never looked so good
||Posted .This whole steel book collection is amazing and so unique. It's well worth getting separate movies than the box set.

Great movie!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I’m watching it as we speak. I’ve watched it many times in many different formats. This is a much better picture and sound quality than previously released versions. Some of the added scenes are a bit much though. I’m not sure if they are a positive or a negative.

The Best Star Wars movie overall
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I am definitely a Star Wars fan over being a Trekkie lol. And it is so great due to technology to be able to rewatch one of my favorite Star Wars movies of all time in 4KUHD quality. The clear crisp picture and amazing music that Lucas movies are known for. But a great movie at a great price.

Great visual and audio presentation
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed. The movie in UHD/4K is an excellent presentation of the "Special Edition" version of the Empire Strikes Back, probably the best that this has ever looked on home video. And the sound mix is outstanding. You really couldn't ask for more when it comes to this version of the film. However, it should have included the theatrical version which many fans have been hoping for in a modern format for years.

Great movie, so so transfer.
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. The Empire Strikes Back is by far the best entry in the Star Wars saga, and one of my favorite flicks of all time. This film holds a special place in the Sci-fi universe and my childhood in particular. I would like to give it a perfect score like it deserves, but the 4K transfer is slightly lackluster. Don't get me wrong the 4K image is sharp and detailed but little too desaturated for my taste. I don't remember it looking this devoid of color in the theaters back in the day, but I could be wrong. The sound could use a little boost too. It seems a bit soft. You can barely here the dialogue at times. If you switch the sound from ATMOS to DTS, it actually sounds better. Well, take a look at it. You may or may not like it.

Worth the 4K upgrade
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed. The online reviews for the newest 4K disc were mixed and I have no idea why. This movie looks stunning! A superior color grade and glorious, velvety Dolby Atmos sound mix. By the time Han and Leia were jumping into the falcon I was swooning with glee that one of my favorite movies looked and sound better than it may ever have.
