Q: QuestionDoes the keyboard show caps lock and Numb lock in that screen?(2 answers)
A: Answerhi, I am the one who asked the question. Thank you for answering it. However, I purchased the keyboard myself after I asked the question, and much to my delight, I have discovered that in fact, the OLED screen does show the caps lock, numb lock, windows lock, etc... I do enjoy the difference in colors of the keys based on if num lock is on, etc... I think it's brilliant. But, yes, the statuses do appear on the OLDED screen.Answered by Kimmy
- A: AnswerIt's not one of the louder sets I've used, but it does have a satisfying click to each press of the keys.

Q: QuestionIs this compatible with Xbox(2 answers)
A: AnswerYes it should be any keyboard and mouse combo should work I wouldn’t go for a 200$ keyboard if you gaming on Xbox tho maybe settle for something a little cheaper there’s plenty of sub 100$ keyboard with great switches!!Answered by Logan
- A: AnswerYes! I have had this keyboard for a bit now and am in love with the options available to customize. The software allows me to change a lot of different things. So yes you can turn keys that aren't used off at will via the software.

Q: QuestionWhich keyboard is better between the apex pro or the apex pro tkl(2 answers)
A: AnswerThe only difference between the two is that one is a full-size keyboard, and one is missing it's number pad. If you're like me, and having that full number pad available to you matters, then you're not going to want the TKL (tenkeyless) version.Answered by Hijiinx
Q: QuestionCan you program the keys to be tactile or linear?(2 answers)
A: AnswerNo you can not program the keys to be tactile but they are linear switchesAnswered by Ryan
Q: QuestionIs the palm rest detachable?(3 answers)
A: AnswerYesAnswered by Bestever
Q: QuestionWhat is the difference between this and the TKL?(3 answers)
A: AnswerOn the TKL(ten key less), there are no NUMPAD or PRT SCN, SCRL LOCK, and PAUSE keys and the OLED is moved over the arrow keys.Answered by David

SteelSeries Apex Pro – The Keyboard That Makes Typ
Let's start with the obvious: this keyboard looks like it was designed in a secret lab by mad geniuses who also happen to enjoy a good light show. The RGB backlighting is so dazzling, it might just be the closest I’ll ever get to owning a personal disco. If my neighbors ask about the pulsating glow coming from my office at 2 AM, I'll just tell them I've opened a nightclub for ants. But let's talk about the real magic here – the OmniPoint adjustable switches. These things are like the James Bond of keyboards. One second, I'm typing out emails with the finesse of a seasoned novelist, and the next, I'm smashing out commands in my favorite game like a caffeinated cat on a piano. Adjusting the actuation point feels like discovering a secret superpower – one that's just a few clicks away. Comfort-wise, it's like typing on a cloud. A cloud made of highly responsive mechanical switches, but a cloud nonetheless. My fingers have never felt more spoiled. The keys are so smooth, I half expect them to start purring. Plus, the customizable actuation points mean I can switch from writing essays to gaming without feeling like I’m adjusting to a whole new keyboard. It’s like this keyboard just gets me, you know? Now, let's address the elephant in the room: the price. Yes, it’s not the cheapest keyboard out there, but consider it an investment in your happiness, productivity, and general sense of keyboard superiority. Plus, think of all the cool tricks you can show off to your friends. "Hey, want to see something cool? Watch me adjust my actuation points mid-game!" (Cue collective gasps and inevitable keyboard envy.) In conclusion, the SteelSeries Apex Pro isn’t just a keyboard; it’s an experience. Whether you’re a gamer, a writer, or someone who just likes to pretend they’re hacking into the Matrix, this keyboard will make you feel like you’re on top of the world – or at least, like you’ve finally found the perfect typing partner.

Amazing keyboard - perfect upgrade.
I am not a gamer, but I absolutely love this keyboard. I have taken comfort for granted in my office for too long and finally decided to upgrade based on quality. This keyboard is comfortable. The keys feel really good and the pad to rest wrist on is great. The RGB color system is awesome and is pretty easy to customize. The volume control is also welcome. All of these features make this keyboard a no-brainer purchase if looking to make a quality upgrade even if not a gamer. I chose this over the wireless version due to the number pad as well as avoiding any lag times even if brief. Due to my setup the cord is not noticeable enough to bother me. The desktop purchased came with a keyboard, but doesn't come close to the feel and quality of this one.

Perfect keyboard for the price
Overall it’s a great keyboard. For its price you get exactly what you’re promised and would expect. The entire set of numbers and lettered keys are capable or having their actuation point changed, down to 0.1mm, which causes almost instant activation just by barely pressing the key, all the way up to 4.0mm, which causes you to need to bottom out the board in order to have the key register. With that, they also have the option of another setting which changes the actuation point of how far the key needs to travel upwards before you can press it down and reactivate it. This is super helpful especially for those that play rhythm games. I personally use it professionally to play Osu!, and it provides a smooth and responsive experience. Do keep in mind that as this keyboard does have usb passthrough, you will need 2 usb ports on the back of your device in order to make use of it. The lighting is great, and the knob for volume is smooth. The final thing this keyboard has that I haven’t seen on other boards, is a customizable oled display. You can play animations at 10 fps on it, and it looks phenomenal. The picture attached has 2 keyboards. The black one is the steel series. Board.
