If you grew up playing PS1 or N64 platformers like I did then just go buy this Seriously I could go into depth about the varied gameplay it offers and the beautiful graphics and tight control but you already know what to expect if you played these types of games. While it may not break any new ground it does everything amazingly well and in an era where 3D platformers aren't nearly as common as they should be. So do yourself a favor and buy this.

While the game doesn't do anything new, per se, for $30 you're getting a fairly decent collect-a-thon platformer. There are times where the gameplay doesn't agree with what you're doing (Lucky is too slippery sometimes!!!), but overall I had a good time. The game is insanely easy until the final boss, which was much much tougher than the rest of the game. For the price, maybe for a discount at $20, the game is pretty fun if you're looking for new Xbox One exclusives.

A wonderful and charming game that is both fun and challenging for all ages. I 100% this game in a couple days because I couldn't put it down. Never had any control or camera issues and loved the platforming. Every world had its own great aesthetic and mechanics. 4K looked amazing on my Xbox One X and Hisense 55H8C 4K HDR TV. A must for any Xbox owner that loves platformers.

Super Lucky's Tale is a love letter to platformers of old like Gex the Gecko. It's colorful, creative, and entertaining, and it delightfully touches on nostalgic ties to games past. It's a fairly short game, but it is worth a play. The biggest issues in Super Lucky's Tale come down to some poor mechanics and sloppy controls - neither of which ruin the experience.

If you're looking for a Mario or Sonic style game, look elsewhere. What you have here is a rather simple, colorful platformer. If I had to compare it to something else, it feels to me very much like the original Skylanders game. Probably better for the younger set but it can be fun if you aren't looking for anything fast paced and new.

So far so good Xbox typically hasn't been strong with platformers but Super Lucky's Tale has been a surprise. The game also compliments the new improved hardware of the Xbox One X very well. If you like platformers and have a Xbox One (or PC) I recommend giving this title a try.

I was glad i picked this up. It's an Xbox One exclusive game only. It was on sale and looked fun. I wasn't expecting how addicted to the game I would get. As a fox character you go on an adventure solving puzzles, and jumping on all obstacles. It is a good game for some family play time with kids. Something new for the Xbox experience.

I wanted to love this game. It looks great and controls well. The story is simple and straightforward. The reason I don’t give it a 5 star is plays it safe. Doesn’t want to stand out on its own. Instead just want to be a Mario or others games that follow that template. Still a good buy
