A: I am an SVS fan, to answer your question, these isolators are worth the money. They have several size bolts that come with them. So just as long as your feet come off of your sub, it will work.
A: They aren't absolutely needed for any sub really. But they lessen the energy lost from the sub to the floor through vibration. This can lead to walls rattling and so forth. In the end the bass from the sub sounds a little bit better. I'm happy with my purchase.
Q: Would these work on the sub in the Vizio SB 36514?
A: SVS states that these systems will work on most subs. These feet screw into the bottom of the sub. I have a Klipsch Sub10 and there was no natural place to screw the feet into so I had to pre-drill and screw in by hand. Not a big job and the difference in sound is incredible! A sound bar sub is typically fairly light in terms of weight so should work great to isolate sound artifacts in your theater area. Hope this helps and may the bass be with you!
