Attach this Sensor where it’s needed to detect and notify you of movement involving heat and motion from people or pets. Use it to monitor entrances, thoroughfares, spaces requiring authorized entry, anywhere beyond your line of sight to detect motion, movements and much more! The PIR (Passive Infrared) Motion Sensor can be integrated into a complete security system managed on the Swann Security app to receive alerts. It can even be connected to the Indoor Siren for an audible and visible alarm that’s a powerful deterrent for intruders.

A: Hi Alex. This motion sensor connects to your Wi-Fi network and is then controlled via the Swann Security App. The app can be set to send you push notification alerts whenever the sensor detects motion. There is no sound emitted from the sensor itself however Swann sell an Indoor Siren/Chime unit which this sensor can trigger. The code for this siren/chime unit is SWIFI-ISIREN. Hope that helps. -SD, Swann team
Q: My router us very close to the device and the alarm and always says Out off line... why
A: When my router and separate modem were next to each other it connected disconnected connected disconnected soon as i moved the router it was fine
A: Yes, when you connect it to Alexa or Google's version. You'll instruct Alexa to turn on lights when motion is detected. To do this, you'll need either a smart switch, plug or smart light bulbs. A plug is easiest but it will simply turn on or off lights, rather than control dimming. You'd connect the smart plug with Alexa. For a smart switch, the one you pick will depend on your home wiring. With any doubt, it's worth hiring an electrician as it won't take long. Smart bulbs are sometimes tricky if you want dimming - check with your existing wall switches for compatibility. Smart bulbs could be more expensive up front but they last a very long time, are easier to install than wall switches, and allow other options such as changing color!
