Description
Director Hannah Fidell’s third feature film is an unconventional buddy comedy that unfolds over a road trip through the desert plains between Texas and Los Angeles. Tony Revolori stars as a freshman photography student who makes a life-changing acquaintance with an alcoholic mechanic (Jason Mantzoukas) after his car breaks down and he agrees to give the unpredictable drifter a lift in exchange for his services.
I was expecting a slap stick comedy, but it's really more serious than that, it explores how a sheltered kid heading to college learns about himself and life in general after picking up a shady drifter character.

While the Long Dumb Road has a few decent comedy scenes in it overall I was a little disappointed because it wasn't as funny as I was hoping it would be.
