Q: Can it be wall or desk mounted like under the desk ?
A: Yes it can.
A: I would recommend against running any kind of heater from a surge protector. Even though it’s a smart plug, it’s still a potential fire hazard to use it for a heater. I tried a space heater off a single smart plug that was of sufficient wattage capability and it ended up blowing the plug and rendering it useless. The heater was 1500 and the plug was about 1800.
Q: Can I use this with a 5.0GHz wifi router, if not is it even possible. I need one ASAP!!
A: Yes, you can.
A: You can control this power strip through the Kasa app but only if your power strip is connected to the internet. If you have timers and schedules set up they will still work without being connected to the internet.
Q: Can you turn on each plug individually?
A: Yes, you can turn on/off the power individually using the Kasa app or with your Amazon device (Alexa).

A: Hi! There is not a web-based management interface; the Kasa Smart WiFi Power Strip is designed for use and management via the Kasa app on your smartphone.

A: Yes, with some leg work. The plug can tell how much is being drawn power wise and how long it's been on for as well as integrate into IFTTT or Google Home to trigger actions
