We’ve been in our house for 20 years, and this is the 3rd cooktop we’ve purchased, due to mechanical failure of the first two by Jennair. I didn’t want to spend the extra money on a Viking, but in the summer of 2020, our choices were limited by pandemic shortages, so it was this cooktop or nothing for months. Very grateful we spent a little extra and got this workhorse of an appliance! I enjoy cooking and use my ovens and cooktop a lot, so I need something to standup to the work. The Viking is up to the task. Quick burner heat, dials that don’t fail after a couple of months, and adequate space for Thanksgiving dinner prep. This cooktop is worth the extra money and has me reconsidering future appliance purchases.

Really like this range, particularly the dual elements for large pots. Also like the control knobs being at the side.

I have not installed my cooktop but I’m eagerly awaiting the installation of it. I’ve been searching for this cooktop over a year now & can’t wait to begin cooking several meals all at once on her. Once I begin I will try to update my review.
