Really does a great job
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.First, Best Buy really has it together. When I entered the store, the front desk person assigned me to a salesperson. The salesperson was knowledgeable, and found me what I wanted in a dishwasher very quickly. I wanted "under $1000" and "very quiet" with "quick wash" and it had to be a Whirlpool or one other brand. This dishwasher was in stock, and could be delivered within two days. The delivery and installation subcontractor was outstanding, very careful to level it, and run a test to make sure it worked, and then showed me how to use it. I got it in white to match my white cabinets. This dishwasher is exactly what I wanted and needed. The price was right, the quality is great, every dish comes out clean, it is very quiet, and when I want to run the quick wash it runs a little over an hour. I like having the 3 racks, so that odd-shaped utensils and small bowls can go on the very top rack. I bought the "Clean/Dirty" magnet separately online. The dishwasher does a great job, and the purchasing and installation experiences were exceptional. Highly recommend this Whirlpool dishwasher, and highly recommend Best Buy.

Good mid level Whirlpool dishwasher
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My old GE dishwasher died and replaced it with this model. It seems to be a good balance of cost and the features I wanted. The third rack seems like a good feature so far that I have never had before. The top panel button layout is simple. I also appreciate that the middle rack can be raised or lowered to accommodate taller items being washed. It is quiet enough while washing. The wash cycle on most dishwashers seems longer than it needs to be. In the user manual it says the cycles are longer to make the dishwasher more energy efficient, which makes sense. I installed the dishwasher and the installation instructions were acceptable.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This dishwasher is great! It is so quiet, I don’t even hear is while it’s washing a load. It’s racks are adjustable and the third rack is perfect for sharp knives. It is sleek, I absolutely love it.

Great Style/Quiet Operation

Whirlpool 3 row dishwasher
||Posted . Owned for 10 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our new dishwasher is very silent abs cleans our dishes so clean they look brand new. We love the lay out and the utensil drawer on the top.

Do not buy this dishwasher
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.4 months old and the cover for buttons is already coming off. Whirlpool has really become a cheap and worthless brand they have had this issue for at least two years and have not addressed the issue. Which I’m told has to do with using the drying feature because of the steam delaminating the cover. I have only used it every 3 to 5 days and only on quick wash with dry. I do not recommend this product and buyer’s should be aware that the total tech warranty only works for the second year after purchase due to whirlpool warranty covering the first year. It cleans well and dries well but just not a great design. Definitely not worth the cost!

Flush handle would be better.
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a nice looking, quiet dishwasher. The only thing I dislike is that the handle is in the way of opening one of our kitchen drawers. This wouldn’t be a problem if your dishwasher was centered away from cabinets.

Q: QuestionCan you choose washing cycle before door is shut?
Asked by Crystalsummer.
- A:Answer Crystalsummer, yes, you can choose the cycle before the door is shut.

Q: QuestionHow does the leak detection system work?
Asked by Jim.
- A:Answer Hello Jim! A flow meter measures the amount of water that enters the dishwasher to ensure correct water volume. If water is detected when it should not be present, the control activates an error to inform the consumer and activates the drain motor to drain away any water until the water ceases to flow or the consumer interacts with the product. Water will overflow the front of the dishwasher tub lip and will enter the funnels. These funnels will direct water into the drip tray. This sends a signal to the control to remove power to the fill valve, and it will cause the front light to flash.

Q: QuestionDoes Normal cycle automatically have Heat Drying? If so, how do I eliminate it so there is no heat drying?
Asked by Lin1947.
- A:Answer The washer has heat dry and extended dry cycles. Heat dry can be turned on to use the element to dry the dishes and extended dry runs the cycle longer. The instruction says specifically to move plastic wear to the upper racks when using either cycle. To turn the heat dry off you need to continually press the dry button till both lights are off over the heat and extended inticators.
