If your portable audio product fails for an issue that we cover but your manufacturer doesn't, we'll replace your product (if one is available) or reimburse you.

  • We provide annual maintenance for your portable DVD player: Bring your product to a Best Buy store once a year, and we'll clean it, check functionality and take care of any alignment issues.
  • No out-of-pocket costs for parts or labor: We take care of 100% of the costs of parts and labor for covered repairs and failures, with no hidden fees.
  • If there's a hardware failure, we'll repair or replace your product: This could be a problem with an internal part, how the portable DVD player was manufactured or normal wear and tear. It could also be caused by dust, internal heat or humidity.
  • If the remote that came with your portable DVD stops working due to a covered failure, we'll replace it: Get a one-time replacement for the remote control that was included in your portable DVD’s original box.
  • If your battery won't hold a charge, we'll take care of it: Get a one-time replacement for your original non-disposable battery (or product if it’s an integrated battery) if it fails to hold at least 80% of its original charge specifications.
  • If your screen has bad pixels or a shadow image, consider it handled: If you have at least three pixels that are always the same color or a ghost image that won't go away, we'll get your picture looking like new.
  • If your portable DVD player won’t turn on because of a power surge, count on us to make it right: You’re covered if there's a power surge or fluctuation that damages your product. This includes a surge caused by a lightning strike.
  • You can transfer your Geek Squad Protection: When you sell or give someone your covered product, Geek Squad Protection is still in effect, with no additional charges or restrictions. Call 1-800-433-5778 (8 a.m.-9 p.m. CT) to transfer.

Q: bought the galaxy buds plus and have the 2 year warranty And my mom might have lost one of her buds Would she be able to get a replacement or not ?

Q: I bought this two year accidental replacement plan for my husbands bluetooth wireless reflectcontour2 earbuds. Our cat chewed through the connecter wire when he was charging them at our desk. Is this covered under this plan?

Please gather everything that came in the box such as the earbuds, any accessories that came with, etc and head into your local Best Buy. You'll head to customer service and there, we'll be able to exchange them for the same unit if you would like or put the money towards something different. Q: I have a broken earbud and a lost earbud. Would i be able to get a replacement with just the broken earned?

A: If it's still within the replacement period (depending on how many years you bought), it's entirely possible. Head into your local best buy and check, it can't hurt. As long as you have SOMETHING to buy in, you should be mostly set.

Q: Can this be used as a TV speaker?

A: Yes it can be. I used my phone to connect to it and it plays through the speakers
