Geek Squad is reliable protection.
Geek Squad is actually the primary reason I buy from Best Buy! I used to only go to Best Buy once in a rare while if I needed technology, computer stuff, or a TV, but after using other protection services and almost always having a hassle and seeing how easy and accessible Geek Squad is, I buy everrything from Best Buy just because of Geek Squad service. My mother in law recently moved into a new home after her other home was destroyed in a hurricane and we bought her several items to replace what she'd lost. We live 3 hours away from her so being able to shop online and have things purchased, delivered, and protected so that it was easily accessible to her if anything goes wrong was very important. We purchased a 70" TV with a wall mount and installation and Geek Squad protection, a countertop microwave with Geek Squad protection, and a Washer & Dryer with Geek Squad protection. It's easy for me to arrange for Geek Squad services and appointments online for my 78 year old Mother In Law whenever she tells us she's in need of support since she is not computer savvy. I use Geek Squad for our purchases as well, TV's, Computers, etc. So far they have been easily accessible, and we've always had good experiences with Geek Squad.
The experience was great! My device was defective, I took it in and left it for 2 days. They weren't able to repair it so I was about to get a new device in store.
